This is my favorite pub in the city! The food is EXCELLENT and the staff is always friendly. You can be sure that the beer is always ice cold as well ;)

I come to the Thirsty Camel on occasion for a quick couple of drinks for lunchtime, and they’re the perfect spot for that. There’s nothing special about the place, but the staff is good & friendly, and there are plenty of loyal regulars. I have yet to try the food, but it certainly looks good, haha! There are some VLTs, TV screens, outdoor seating, and a pool table as well; but not the kind of place you would want to hit up for a night out. #yeglove I Heart Edmonton

My first time visiting this pub for a boxing fight last Sat night. I was very impressed with the vibe and ambience that I felt when I first had walked in. The décor was cozy and the bathrooms clean and nice. We ordered the nachos to share and they were great and cheesy! Then I ordered the chicken fiesta bowl with added calamari, this might sound strange together but WOW it was amaaaazing!!! The amount of meat was great and such a nice flavor all together. The staff was so friendly not to mention the people there. great experience. I will definitely be going back!

We checked out the UFC website for local holes in the wall to watch the fights since we were just bumming around in our sweatpants at home watching the prelims and didn’t want a crazy bro night out at the bigger bars playing them. The website confirmed The Thirsty Camel was nearby and confirmed they were playing the UFC card so off we went to check it out. The bar was very small, as expected but obviously recently renovated with modern colours and interior. It was clean and dimly lit — an electric fireplace gave a nice cozy feel as we curled up in a booth to watch the fights. The service was wonderful. Our server(who’s name may have been Barbie?) was smiley, energetic and helpful and checked back on us often and took time for a little chat. In between fights, there was a door prize draw — my boyfriend won a UFC tshirt: P The menu was huge for a pub menu with a lot of asian and mexican inspired dishes. We started with the Perogie Rolls — which were springrolls with perogie filling. They needed ketchup… :/ I had the steak quesadilla with a side of guac. The quesadilla itself was huge and stuffed full of tender savoury steak and flavourful fillings like green pepper, onion and cheese. LOVED it. Could hardly finish it it was so fulling. The guac was a bit disappointing. Lots of onion… not a lot of avocado so it made it impossible to spread or even pile on. My boyfriend got a grilled chicken burger with yam fries. The fries were tasty and burger LOOKED fantastic, piled high with a nicely grilled chicken breast — but in hopes of going for the«healthier» he was bummed on the cheezewhiz type processed cheese melted all over it(like, drowning in cheeze sauce) But the sound was GREAT for watching the fights, there was a TV to see at every seat. We might just have found our new go-to place to watch sports events! :D

Nachos with BACON! Lots of yummy toppings: bacon, tomatoes, onions, olives, banana peppers. Good cheese distribution, a little smaller than oj’s, but only $ 14. Super friendly, fantastic, attentive staff. We’ll be back!

The marquee outside advertises«BEERASCOLDASYOUREX,» which in manspeak is a bold challenge, not to be ignored without a real danger of ridicule and ostracism. Men can’t walk away from a place that advertises that. It’s not a choice. The tables are just slices from a single redwood that were carved up with a chainsaw, sealed and bolted onto a stand. They wobble, but nobody cares because they’re just slices from a single redwood that were carved up with a chainsaw, sealed and bolted onto a stand. There are chairs, but I don’t remember them because of how awesome the tables are. The men’s washroom is tastefully decorated in UFC posters and artistic close-ups of camel toes. On Friday afternoons if you buy a beer, it comes with a free pizza. It’s always good. Guys, I don’t have to tell you to come here. The gauntlet has already been thrown.

Pretty good place to watch sports. The food is decent and reasonably priced. I’ll be back to watch some UFC.
