Pharos Pizza and Spaghetti House

I heard through the grapevine a while ago that Pharos serves up an awesome slice. unfortunately at the time I heard that they were closed. Now up until recently it has joined forces with Haven Social Club and the za is back up and ready to deliver lasers of awesome to your tongue.
Inside Pharos is some extremely friendly staff. Patient while you’re debating what to order and they bring it out from behind the counter when it’s ready too! There isn’t much place to sit if you want to dine in upstairs, but if you’re willing to pay some cover and watch a live band (sometimes) you can eat at Haven. I ended up getting the Pharos Special (lg 12″), an order of fries to snack on and 2 pops, all for $ 32 ! Not too bad. Wait time was probably about 15 minutes, I was really excited because it’s not very often I go out specifically to eat pizza. Usually it’s a lazy thing where you order from Pizza Hut and you just want the greasiest thing possible to cure last nights rendezvous.
Their pizza wasn’t cut traditionally. Just in even squares so the corner pieces were triangular. BEST PEPPERONI EVER !!! Sealed in underneath the cheese was some of the best pepperoni I have ever had. And the sauce was bursting with zesty flavor and the toppings were definitely not skimpy. I wouldn’t go so far as to say it’s the best pizza I have had in my life, but the pepperoni and sauce are definitely #1. So maybe I’ll just get a pepperoni pizza next time yeah? Yum!
