Miki Sushi Express

okay seriously, best sushi in the world. ever. ever ever ever. I have traveled to all the seaside tropic countries you can think of, and tried various dishes of the Japanese cuisine with only the freshest of fish caught just that day– and nothing I mean NOTHING tops Miki sushi. I’ve only ever eaten at the location in Sherwood Park, as it is just around the corner from my house, but I’m sure the one on Victoria Trail is nothing short of amazing either! I am quite the local there now, probably eating there at least every other week and I have never once had a bad experience. the New York, Hawaii, and Spicy tuna are the best rolls in sushi history! seriously! though I’ve now made it my goal to try most everything on the menu, those are my favourites so far. Chip chip, coming in close though! Any one thing on the menu puts Sumo Sumo to shame. And seriously the man who works there, day in and day out (every time I’ve visited at least) is probably the nicest human being on this planet. always greeted with a smile! He is so polite and hospitable, really makes going in to eat there a personal experience :) which is so nice to be treated like a human, as opposed to just a paying customer when you go out. His family was even in one day, and his cute little mother served us, it was so adorable! Other perks to add, and yes there is more, is that not only can you dine in and eat some freshly made the moment you order sushi, but (if within 3 km radius) THEY DELIVER!!! amazing! That, and they are always changing and expanding their menu. Always new yummy creations to try!
My family tends to go out for food a lot, whether halfway across the globe or in Edmonton/​surrounding area, needless to say I’ve been to my fair share of restaurants but this has to be top three. if you don’t like this place you’re INSANE, and if you haven’t tried it yet do yourself a favour and GO!

Wonderful meal on a holiday. Everyone really liked the food and the owner gave us a free sample of a new dish they are putting on the menu. Favourite was the deep fried queen roll.

Miki Sushi Express in Sherwood Park had great reviews on other sites as well, so we thought we’d check it out.
WOW. I cannot give this place enough praise.
You can tell the (very friendly) owner cares so much about the quality of his food and his customer’s satisfaction. Once an item was brought to the table, he explained exactly what it was, and what dips/​sauce, etc. works best with that particular sushi.
The sushi itself is soooooo delicious and FRESH! Nothing is pre-​made/​fried.
The restaurant itself is pretty casual; no need to get dressed up! But very clean, and well maintained.
Try it! You won’t be disappointed! We left full and happy ;)

I was craving sushi all day and the owners of this place are so friendly and helpful.
I got quite a few different rolls to try out and they were all delicious.
Will definitely order from them again. Plus they deliver! What more do you want.
