Bad service, bad food. Not recommended! Sadly I posted a fuller negative review to the location at 122St &137 Ave by mistake! The kitchen staff at this location should be taught how to cook fish & chips and bring it to the table in a timely manner. We waited over 20 minutes from placing our order, and when it arrived the fish was undercooked and the chips were almost cold! Also the mushy peas were disgusting. We will never visit this location again, and probably avoid Joeys Only in the future. There must be a good fish and chip restaurant in Edmonton somewhere!

If you are coming for the all you can eat(AYCE) fish and chips on Tuesdays it is worth 3.5 stars. When you come with your birthday coupon(a discount percentage equal to your age off the total bill, up to $ 25) is easily worth 4 stars. Anything else on the menu is worth 3 or less. I started going to Joey’s as a kid and it hasn’t changed much(except for the price slowly creeping up). I always really enjoyed the batter. The last time I came I had the AYCE cod which was good although the pollack is just fine for a lower price. My wife tried the Blackened Halibut Burger for $ 15 and it wasn’t worth it. It was paper thin. The kids meals were fun. Service at this location was very good in our experience. We are a large family and they took care of all of us. I personally was pleased that my AYCE fish never stopped. My plate was never empty which can often be a problem at places like this. I was pleased. My kids loved it.
