Wanted to show my appreciation for the massive selection of tea bags on visual display of which the Gunpowerder Green is my favourite. Not only does it sound manly, it’s damn good as well. Reasonable priced(for the university) at $ 1.67 plus tax. Also delicious brownies with a subtle amount of nuts inside that straddle the line between smooth and crunchy. I think I come here too often.

Their coffee is a bit hit and miss… sometimes the«medium roast» tastes a bit peculiar and the flavoured coffees aren’t the greatest idea. Honestly, coffee should be a stand-alone flavour. Their pastries and cookies are from Bee Bell and are, hence, delicious. Good service without being obsequious.

*First review* GO Unilocal Canada! This must be the location in HUB. I mainly went to the one in SUB, though. Their mochas are like crack; they’re incredibly addictive… not that I’d know how addictive crack is… They seem to make them with their hot chocolate and espresso. Their lattes are also very good if you want something with steamed milk. They were pretty fast, even when there was a line. They have a selection of muffins and bagels, which was handy if you were on the go. The only gripe I have with them is their gift certificate system. You buy a card for a certain dollar amount, but they don’t carry a balance if you don’t use the entire balance of the card. So, if you’re buying for someone, buy them several $ 5 cards. I think you can also buy cards that are worth a certain product, like a coffee or a mocha. Kind of weird, IMO.
