J.Crew Factory Store

I think it’s a bit of a common misconception that items at J. Crew Factory were once sold at J. Crew… sadly this isn’t the case. Items of slightly lesser quality are manufactured separately or ‘reject’ pieces are redirected to the Factory stores rather than tarnish J. Crew’s reputation.
That said, I LOVE THIS PLACE SO MUCH. Even lesser quality J. Crew items are still pretty good quality. And the prices? Man, the prices. As a previous reviewer mentioned, go to the back of the store — I’ve scored beautiful pencil skirts for $ 10 (though, on every. single. one. the hem has come out… it’s a fix I’m willing to live with for $ 10, but take it into consideration). They also used to sell the best t-​shirts ever for $ 5 – 15. They’ve stopped producing that particular fit but their new ones are also fantastic. I think one of my best finds was a grey schoolboy blazer on sale for $ 40 (okay, not rock-​bottom cheap, but really a great deal!).
Anyways, give this place a look. But maybe don’t tell too many friends? I kind of love that it’s always emptyish and I can find deals in my size ;).

Everything I have bought here has been at least 60% off the retail price. There are somethings that are still quite expensive but usually there is something I’m looking for at the price I’m willing to pay. This has become my go to place for business casual clothing but also for tshirts, tank tops and sweaters. I absolutely love how friendly everyone is and how helpful they are. I love the fact students and teachers get an additional discount on top of the sale or clearance prices as well.

I do love me some preppy J Crew clothes! So what could better then paying reduced to insanely rock bottom prices for those nautical chic, clean lines and Hamptons-​esk looks? Nothing! And when I saw rock bottom, I mean it. I once found a $ 60 sparkly top for $ 4, I had no choice, I just had to buy 2! So next time you are out in South Common stop in and check out the very back of the store, that’s where all the clearance clothes reside. You’re going to love it! — Oh, and students and teachers get an extra 15% off when they show their card. Well done Crew.

J. Crew Outlet at South Edmonton Common is awesome. The prices are much more reasonable than the regular stores and often times there’s an additional sale going on, usually between 30% to 60% off. If I can snag a nice shirt from clearance for $ 15 I’ll take it, but one time I got lucky (so did a lot of other customers) as I got 3 nice button up shirts for $ 5 each. That’s practically stealing! OK, not quite but you can’t even get a nice shirt for work from Walmart for five bucks. I’m usually not a fan of outlet stores as I don’t find them THAT much cheaper and the quality is noticeably much lower. However, I’m making an exception for this J. Crew Outlet location as they always have a great deal going on and the quality is pretty decent.
