Computerized AutoPro

Definitely not a Pro!
I purchased Michelin Pilot Sport Tire from Computerized AutoPro for Volkswagen Passat. Less than 20,000 km later I got a mechanic notice about an unusual wear on the tires. Normally all Michelin tires are coming with 70,000 km warranty, so I contacted Michelin for warranty support. They immediately filed a claim referred me to their representative at Canadian Tire. After having inspected the tires on my vehicle, Canadian Tire technicians came to a conclusion that Computerized AutoPro sold and installed Michelins with the load factor that is three points lower than the one appropriate for my vehicle (94 instead of 97). Since providing tires with the wrong load rating was solely the mistake of Computerized AutoPro, the Michelin representative advised my only option was to go back there to fulfill the warranty. So I went and dropped my car off there.
Next day after the appropriate tires were installed on my vehicle, instead of an apology Computerized AutoPro surprised me with a $ 100 bill that I had to pay immediately. When I inquired what exactly are they charging for, the lady on reception assured that the ‘Warranty Administration Fee’ is mandatory deducted by Michelin for this type of warranty services. I paid, but before leaving the office I requested more information about the fee since I planned to double check it with Michelin customer service. On hearing that, the admin person suggested I talk to the manager.
Todd Eskow, the owner, manager and service consultant at Computerized AutoPro (who taught Tire Training for over 10 years but apparently has a vague understanding of the load index!!!), met me shortly after. Imagine my surprise when he informed the charge was not from Michelin. In fact the $ 100 was charged to pay the salary of Computerized AutoPro employee who invested two hours into a telephone conversation with Michelin trying to re-​create the claim I have created long before I even came to AutoPro for warranty service.
To sum it up, I have a couple of issues with the service Computerized AutoPro provided. First, they installed tires that do not meet the O.E. tires’ load carrying capacity. Tires with lower load index decrease the maximum load capacity of a vehicle, which potentially leads to a blowout. Depending on the situation, this careless mistake can lead to an automobile accident, and cause property damage to multiple vehicles, injury or death of people. Therefore, Computerized AutoPro provided a faulty tire replacement work that put me and my family in danger.
Second, they are charging customers for the time they spend fixing their own mistakes. The so-​called ‘Warranty Administration Fee’ is a unique creation of Todd Eskow, no other business has it. Likely because of the poor workmanship, cheating and lying seemed to become a common behavior for admin stuff at Computerized AutoPro. The lady at reception tricked me into paying the charge that should not be there in the first place. I am very upset I had to go back to Computerized AutoPro to get the warranty service. If there was a chance I could go to a different place, I would not have to pay any additional fees.
Finally, I spent more than 7 hours of my personal time dealing with Michelin customer service, Michelin representative at Canadian Tire and Computerized AutoPro. If I am to pay Computerized AutoPro’s employee to spend two hours on the phone with the Michelin customer service, who is going to compensate me for my time? Anyhow, now I just want to forget my experience with Computerized AutoPro like a bad dream. Would never trust them to touch my vehicle again.

I have hired Todd at computerized so many times over the past 14 years and he has never let me down. I buy my vehicles from dodge but Todd takes care of all maintenance and performance upgrades. As a matter of fact I had his shop blueprint and build me a hi perf 360 ci dodge motor a few years back and it was supposed to have about 335 hp. In fact it had close to 420 hp to my delight!!! I will never go elsewhere as COMPUTERIZED is the best in that marketplace and I don’t waste my money at other shops that tell tall tales. I also run a small business and he takes care of all those mechanical needs as well. Great job Todd!

I don’t let anyone else touch my cars. Todd and the boys take care of everything. I love the inspection they do with every oil change it means I don’t worry about anything.
Their estimates are always high and if they find something else that needs to be done they call you first. They can tell me what work can and cannot wait.
And my favorite part; they take care of all warranty stuff. Registering, inspections and they will even fight with them to get stuff paid for.
I have been coming here for 10 years. I won’t be stopping anytime soon

Just had my car detailed and inspected at computerized and was very impressed with how they walked me through the inspection report afterwards. Their integrity and level of workmanship is second to none. The most amazing thing that happened to me throughout this whole process was that in their inspection they pointed out that I needed back brakes… but I just had my brakes done at my Ford dealer in May. Todd walked me through why I needed new brakes and asked to see my invoice from Ford. Upon inspection of the invoice Todd was able to tell me that there were massive differences between my invoice and the work that was completed. I was able to take my car back to Ford where they «verified» what Todd and his guys at computerized had found. The guys at Ford apologized for getting caught in their deception but alas it was too late, I think I will be taking my car to Computerized Autopro from now on.
