Chatters Salon

Wow! What a great Chatters!
I’m a fan of the Chatters chain in general, I shop quite a bit in their retail store.
Sooo, when I was in desperate need of a haircut last night I was going to run into my local chain salon for a quick trim. The wait was an hour, which is much more than I was willing to wait for a discount haircut. So I got on my favourite app, the Unilocal app of course!, and searched for nearby hair salons. I loooove this GPS feature btw, it’s so convenient for times like this when you need a plan B. 30 seconds later I was on the phone to Chatters@Windermere and had an appointment booked for a half an hour later.
I was kinda pumped anyway cause I had been wanting to have my hair cut at Chatters since I moved to Edmonton 3 years ago.
I walk in at 5:15pm, the receptionist greets me right away, even though she’s on the phone with another client. I found that to be positive right off the hop. She didn’t leave me standing there while she finished with the phone, her multi-​tasking was certainly appreciated by me!
The place is straight up nice. It’s clean modern and spacious and well appointed. The salon part is actually upstairs in a split level and really liked that. You’ve got your privacy from the browsing shoppers while you get your hair done.
On to the cut, which was just outstanding. My stylist (who’s name I cannot remember right now but I will update!) was just fantastic. She was immediately easy going and easy to talk to. She fully listened to me, fully took my own personal style into account, and proceeded to give me one the best and most fun haircuts I’ve ever had.
I could not have enjoyed my experience more and I will absolutely be back. For $ 55, a shampoo, cut, style and a fun pack of pretty clips, I found it to be a great value.

This is a really great chatters.
It is a cool loft style concept when you come in with a shop on the bottom with products and stuff and the stylists upstairs.
I have had some bad hair experiences but not here with Colette. She is an experienced stylist and provides a fun and positive atmosphere when you are getting your hair done.
I have had cut and colors with her and she even cut and dyed my clip in extensions and made it look really natural.
I would definitely recommend her. The other staff at the studio are always friendly as well. They provide tea/​water when you check in.
The prices are very affordable compared to some salons I have been to.
It’s not in my neighborhood but is definitely worth the drive!

Ran in at 4:56 on a Sunday night to grab product — wasn’t on the shelves, but the gal so kindly showed me the smaller size. «Just a minute, let me check the back, I think I have that in litre size on sale.» And so she did!
Fantastic Boxing Week sale too! Amazing!
