Love this place! They’ve been well established in Leaside for many years. I go for their Amarone-style reds and sometimes a sweet treat, like their Toasted Caramel dessert wine(yum!). Kevin’s a cool cat, and Bob’s a total sweetheart. They’re a delight to deal with.

This is one of those places where you go in and make a batch of wine in-store. If you’re not familiar with the process, you go in and dump the yeast into the juice, and they pretty much do everything for you until it’s time to bottle. They sell everything from the juice to the bottles, labels, and corks. And you typically end up paying less than $ 5 a bottle for really decent wine. My inlaws are big fans of MWW and get their juice for home winemaking here; last year this is where we made the wine for our wedding reception, a batch of Barolo and a batch of Pinot Grigio. I wish we’d made twice as much. The Barolo is absolutely fantastic after fourteen months and there are only five bottles left. Sad face. I’ll try to save one for a few more years, and I’ll definitely be back to make more.
