I’m surprised no one else has stopped by to write a review for this hidden gem in Ladner! Well, it is Ladner after all and we move a bit slower (some people say we’re just slow in general. Ha!).
Discovered this little place courtesy of my friend. I, like many, have spent my whole life in Ladner (and many of my drinking age years) and never visited here until recently. The décor is adorable and can only be described as decorated by a seductive boat captain with a flare for nautical wall hangings. The drinks are reasonably priced and while you won’t find any fancy cocktails, their Caesars are delicious and the beer is cold.
The food is DELICIOUS! In particular, the fish tacos which I regret not ordering. Instead, I had to live with only tasting a bite of my friends and then dreaming of them for the rest of my meal. Everyone was happy and full and content by the time our meal had finished, and that is the true sign of a good meal had. Six people at our table and not one complaint. Go Rusty Anchor!
