Great place to unwind on a sunny summer day. Love everything this park has to offer. There is trail that take you to south side of tunnel starting point. Great views. Highly recommended to visit at least once if you have not been to the park.

Took the kids here for a bike ride recently. Very quiet and peaceful and the trail is right along the water. This is a great hike or bike ride. Some areas say no bikes which I didn’t really understand as its not very busy. We packed snacks and ate at the picnic tables. Beautiful park. Another one of Delta’s best kept secrets.

For some reason I remember going here as a child and cycling along the water with my family. While *some* of the trails are suitable for bikes, you’d be better off walking. Some of the trails are sand, others are boardwalk, and some are gravel. It’s easy to access, and it’s quieter than you’d think, despite being smack-dab in the centre of Highway 99 and the George Massey Tunnel. Great place to have a picnic and chill out.

Great park by the water. Picnic tables along one side of the dyke and throughout the grassy areas. On the other side of the parking lot is the wharf. Good for fishing from or launching small boats. A local boating group runs«Learn to Boat» courses from this location.

One of the nicer parks in the Delta area. Not too many people know it exists, and it’s easy to see why. Chances are you’d drive right by without even knowing it was there. It is somewhat out of the way from Highway 99 as well, so you do have to specifically look for it. Parking is available near the gate and is also woefully inadequate, but if you get desperate you can also park along the next road segment that connects the gate parking lot to the inner one. There are plenty of grassy and sandy areas all along the length of the park. The one place worth a special mention is a clearing that you can find if you follow the road past the 2nd set of yellow gates right where the inner parking lot is. It’s literally a clearing in the trees, with a nice gazebo that’s perfect for group events. And it’s super isolated. I spent several hours there and don’t even think I saw a single outsider after several hours. There are also designated hiking trails here that take you through the trees and hear the water. Now if only this park wasn’t so far.

A nice and sweet little park in Delta. It’s a nice place for a walk, jog, bike, paddle on a canoe/boat or you can even go fishing on the shore too. I came here for a picnic and photoshoot for photography. There are a few small picnic tables and one large picnic table which is covered. The large covered picnic table has names posted of whoever reserved it. It cost a two hundred dollars a day to use the picnic table which is on the high side. However, it is worth it, it is a nice quiet location with lots of nearby free parking. I came here for a photography shoot and the location seemed to be excellent. There are tall dried grass on the westside of the park, an old heritage house, and Fraser River are ideal for photography. I didn’t have to venture onto a private farmland in Saskatchewan. Deas Island Park has a bit of a country feel to it! I was a little disappointed that the washrooms available are middle of the woods non flushing outhouse type. There is an outhouse style washroom for men and one for women. However, there is a tiny water tap outside the washroom so you can wash your hands. The water tap only works between May to September! Attention, City of Delta, please upgrade the washrooms.
