The food is good, and you can stay the whole time in your spot, so it’s nice to have a guaranteed fabulous view and if your lucky, a power outlet! Lot’s of tea refills and delicious dessert.

Travelling with a friend last year; we decided to take up some of our Ferry time enjoying a fine dining excursion. That day we decided to visit, there was a huge buffet, and to say the least it was awesome! The only down part for me was the fact that I have seafood allergies, and some kind patron had stuck the salad tongs in one of the shellfish sides and I had a ‘slight’ reaction. Other than that the buffet was amazing and fresh, and worth every penny! Watching the ever changing view was amazing as I am one who loves the ocean. I will be back!

TL;DR: price got cheaper, so did food. Last time I used the buffet about 3 years ago, it was definitely more expensive(or at least seemed that way), but oh boy was it worth it. The variety of fish and meats, succulently prepared could only be rivaled by the wide selection of salads… My mouth is salivating just thinking about it. What they have now, albeit cheaper, is a buffet version of the Ikea restaurant food. Overabundance of sauce and spices used to cover up bland and generic tasting processed food… the only thing that remained awesome is the dessert — like 5 different cakes, with fresh fruit and some cookies. If you do end up spending the money, save room for dessert… or just opt for the lounge — they have all you can eat fruit and cookies there too, plus some cheeses.

Travelling time between Vancouver and Victoria is fairly lengthy, about an hour and a half to be precise. After visiting most of the ship, A friend and I decided to have some lunch. We went to this buffet and were not disappointed. The menu was very well prepared and the dishes were well executed. The meal was bursting with all sorts of flavors. The buffet was fresh and regularly replenished, leaving nothing tasting«old». Best of all, its a buffet so one can eat all they want of one thing, or try a bit of everything, as their appetites permit. The views from the restaurant are actually quite unique due to the ever changing scenery behind the windows. The price ins’t one of the cheapest I have found but was well worth every penny for making the journey across this entertaining and delicious. If I must go back on the Ferry and at any point feel hungry, I certainly will stop in again as it made the trip«float» by quite quickly.

I believe this used to be a LOT pricier. It was about $ 14 and some change and I feel this price is cheaper than it has been in the last several years. For a buffet this ain’t so bad. I attended a buffet recently and it was $ 35! Man, what a delicious rip off. The selection is about what you’d expect from a floating buffet. Get there early because their tends to be a line-up.

Yes, it’s the buffet on the ferry — yes, it’s pricey as all hell ! Do I care, NOPE ! I was once again nursing a sore strongbow related head from visiting family and I needed breakfast — the plethora of options was exactly what the doctor ordered, eggs and sausage and ham and the tastiest little hash browns known to man. I gorged myself and had a great window seat and didn’t hear one screaming child — in fact my entire trip was turned into a feast of pleasantess. If you like oatmeal, they have it, and waffles with berries and whip cream, hey they got those too !! I have no qualms with dropping another twenty bucks on breaky on a ferry again:-)
