Description

Specialties

Clair’s Bed & Breakfast specializes in deluxe, comfortable accommodation for the traveller who enjoys staying in elegant surroundings that includes a gourmet breakfast and walking distance to many wonderful restaurants.

History

Established in 1993.

Clair purchased the 1920’s Art Deco Home in 1993 and created Clair’s Bed and Breakfast with lots of time and effort.

The house built in 1922 by the Baker Family. Mr. Baker was the first blacksmith in Ladner and later became the first car dealership and banker. The house was moved from it’s original location in 1985 rather than being destroyed with the rebuilding of the Gateway Society for Autistic Children.

The house has 3 cozy rooms and 3 deluxe suites, all with comfortable beds & ensuite bathrooms plus many added extra’s. There is an elegant dining room, parlour and sitting room where you can sit and meet other guests travelling from all over the world planning or speaking of your adventures. Dine on a gourmet breakfast prepared by Clair herself. Explore the river, which is a block away from the B&B. Visit wineries, Reifel bird sanctuary, fly in or out of Boundary Bay Airport. Dine at one of the 15 restaurants within walking distance of Clair’s. Hike, bike or kayak the dyke.
