History

Established in 1970.

Darrell Robinson worked in the tire industry for 14 years, before he and his wife Marilyn decided to start their own venture. In 1970, they opened their first shop at 267 Bedford Highway with only six employees. Thanks to our dedicated and valued customers, 44 years later Scotia Tire continues to grow with five metro locations and over 50 employees.

John and Bill Robinson have carried on their father’s legacy as President and Vice President of Scotia Tire Service Ltd. Darrell’s grandson Phillip is also involved in the family business as Manager of the Robie Street location.
