Corningware, I thought, was a good brand and should last a couple of years. The one we bought here didn’t. After 4 or 5 uses there was a big crack in the bottom, like the ones you get with really cheap low quality products made in low wage countries. Ladies in the store refused to take it back, because«the 30 days exchange period was over». Now I have to deal with the manufacturer. Oh, I can’t wait for the IKEA store to open!!!

First time in Home Outfitters as I was looking for a welcome mat for the front door. Walking in I was pleasantly surprised at the size of the store it is huge. I think they have cinnamon blowing through the air vents it smells delightful. Walking around I found myself not actually looking at the mats but at everything else. From the kitchen section I was looking at a pink Kitchen Aid blender that was one sale. Further down they had beautiful drapes and carpets. Beautiful bathroom accessories to really nice plush towels, shower curtains. Prices are not that bad average bathroom towel about $ 10 which is fair. Bedding section is huge with bed in the bags or separates. nice displays set up around the store to the point where I would love to climb in. Clearance sections throughout the store and one table was up to 80% off which is a good deal. I left without a mat but had a number of ideas for when I move to another location. I will definitely visit Home Outfitters to purchase new belongings.

On Saturday I was in Home Outfitters to look at a few things for the house, namely cushions, ottomans and wall-hangings. The store had a reasonable selection of all of these products but at steeper than average prices. What did, however, catch my attention was the little extras they had going on in the store. In one corner they had a demo lady sampling the latest coffee makers, the ones you find in fancy offices where you select a miniature packet of your favorite coffee type(eg. Hazelnut, Irish Cream etc.) and watch as the coffee maker instantly makes an individual cup of coffee. Next, over on another side of the store they had a $ 3,000 massaging chair for customers to try out. I sat in the chair for about 10 minutes in complete relaxation, until other customers discovered the chair and wanted to try it out as well. Overall, it was a great experience and I recommend others to go there, but the prices to tend to be on the steep side so be sure to keep your eyes peeled for the monthly 25% off coupon in their store flyer.
