Wicker Emporium

I’ve been to this location and the one on Chain Lake. Both are chock full of awesome stuff. Two things stand out that really make Wicker Emporium shine: the unique furniture (lots of hand-​made solid exotic woods) and the friendly staff at both locations. I get the impression that they actually LIKE working at the store. And having worked in retail before, it’s REALLY hard to keep staff happy so they’re obviously doing something right.
Wicker Emporium is a bit of a Nova Scotia success story. It started as a single store in Halifax in the 1960s and is now all over Eastern Canada and expanding into Ontario. I think that’s awesome and I feel really good about giving them my custom.
If there are two local furniture stores I can’t get enough of — they are Wicker Emporium and Kvadro. Yup. I like wood. If you do too, you’ll like this place.

Wicker Emporium, it is definitely an emporium, and they do have a lot of wicker (y) type stuff.
What I love most about WE is the furniture!
Top notch quality, top notch designs, and something for everyone and every taste.
And for some reason, the furniture is always 50% off.
So if you are shopping for furniture at WE and don’t see the 50% tag… wait!
The prices are a little extreme at full price, but downright reasonable at ½ price.
I’ll be back, time and time again.
