The fan in my fridge seized up and Appliance Maritime sent a technician out the next day. The receptionist was friendly and efficient while setting up my appointment. The technician arrived when he said he would and was very personable and knowledgeable. He fixed the problem while explaining what it was and he was in and out in no time. I was very happy with the experience and will definitely call them again if needed!

This company knows the value of treating a customer right — even when the customer isn’t a customer. I wrote them asking their advice for a problem I’m having with my dishwasher (which, by the way, they responded to promptly by phone — just as they say they will on their website!). A lovely, friendly lady named Connie called me and said she had a word with one of their technicians regarding my situation. She said she would save me the cost of a visit and told me over the phone what a technician would simply tell me: get rid of my dishwasher and buy a new one (she said that because it had been sitting unused for so long (almost a year), many of the moving parts and seals would have dried up and, potentially, been rendered useless by this point). She said she wanted to save me time, money, and aggravation. I couldn’t tell her enough how grateful I was not only for her brutal honesty, but for treating me like one of her paying customers.
I’m awarding 4 stars simply because I can’t comment on their repair service. But based on the level of service I received from Connie over the phone, I’m confident their repair service is equally matched in quality and care.
If ever I do need an appliance repair service again, I know who to call.

The self-​cleaning function of our oven malfunctioned and refused to unlock the oven door. Appliance Maritimes booked an appointment quickly; the repairman arrived when he was supposed to, was courteous and efficient, and patiently answered all our questions.
He succeeded in unlocking the oven (not an altogether easy task at all) and identified the erring part. The next day the office called and apologized that after a search, they had found that part was no longer being manufactured. We appreciated their prompt follow-​up.
The tab was $ 80 including tax (for almost an hour’s work), and we have a functioning oven again — we can put up without the self-​cleaning function.
I would recommend them any time.

I have had Appliance Maritimes come to my home twice — once to fix my dryer and once to fix a broken washing machine and dishwasher. Both times they were courteous and either fixed the item or advised that it would be better to purchase a new item. I’d recommend them highly.
