Place is not as good as it used to be. Waitress was fantastic, but it’s getting pretty overpriced for breakfast. I thought when I paid over $ 10 for a short stack of «pancakes with MAPLE SyRuP and Bacon» that I would actually get MAPLE SyRUP”. But no they give you watered down Aunt Jemima. That my friends is FRAUD pure and simple. No time for a place that commits fraud. Bye

Came here for breakfast with a friend. I ordered the perogie breakfast and asked for bacon instead of sausage. The plate that arrived was massive! Everything was delicious. I had 6 slices of bacon which I thought was very generous. Price was 12.99. My friend ordered the grand forks breakfast which comes with 3 eggs, 3 strips of maple bacon, 3 sausage links and 3 buttermilk pancakes, with toast and breakfast potatoes with sautéed peppers, onions. She ate until she was stuffed and still had leftovers. Our server was very attentive and came back to refill our water and check in on us a few times. Although prices are a little higher than IHOP or denny’s, I will definitely return as the portion sizes are larger and tastier and service was very good.

I was surprised with the quality of food and service. Expectations were low simply from what I had heard from other people. The reviews on here would lead you to believe this place is below average as well, but it was pretty decent. Sever was very young, but attentive and friendly. Ordered a burger and my gf had a sandwich, portions were large and the food was good. Obviously not 5 star food but for the price not sure what people expect. Won’t make the trip just to go to Rickys but definately an option when at the mall.

Terrible service and the food was no better(dry chicken). When I gave them feedback about the service they just brushed me off. Not to mention the server brought me the wrong order. Won’t be going back any time soon… or ever!

So you want to eat here? I wouldn’t recommend it. I’ve had better food at the Mall’s Food Court which is only a thirty second walk from this Ricky’s Location. Where to start? Let’s start with the hours. The hours located on their website is inconsistent to their actual hours posted on the door. Most nights they close at 7pm, but stop accepting customers at 6pm… I don’t know of a «grill» that closes down that early. For reference, their website says they’re open till How about the atmosphere? It reminded me of one of those places a TV sitcom would make fun of when elderly people go for an early bird special mixed in with something from Kitchen Nightmare, and I’m not talking about the UK version either, the dreadful American one. The TV’s(I believe their were TVs I kept hearing commercials) were no where in sight, you can hear the serenade coming from the microwave(More on that later), and the overall visual appeal of the place was meh at best. The experience was weird. The Waitress was attentive but when I informed her that someone left their CreditCard in the machine as I walked in she was more concerned about seating us/taking care of other customers rather than securing the credit card out from the open. Later as I was about to leave I went to wash up only to walk into a guy doing his business, apparently the door didn’t have a lock. Let’s talk about the food. Pretty simple really, overprice crap. My partner had the Chicken Strips and Chips while I had the Beef Dip with the Cesar Salad. The Chicken Strips were greasy and the Beef for the beef dip was cooked/re-heated in the microwave. Oh yeah, the Beef Dip came with burnt cheese on the top of it… that confused me. The food was okay, at this point I would’ve given it a 2⁄5. Then a few hours later the person that I went with and I both got really sick, we shared her chicken strips. :(I wouldn’t advise anyone to go here, go to A&W and grab some Moma Burgers and vomit in them, it’ll taste as good and you’ll get the Ricky’s All Day Experience!

I am a fan of breakfast, and an even bigger fan of perogies at breakfast time, which makes Ricky’s on of my favorite breakfast joints around. I tried this location for the first time… and the experience was great. Our server was awesome, the coffee was good(and my cup kept full!). I decided although the perogies were calling my name it really want a Belgian waffle day… but what topping strawberry or peach because I wanted both? So I asked if I could have both, which I know they aren’t really supposed to do, and was thrilled when the server said she would put a bit of both on for me. My waffle was delicious, the bacon I stole from my boyfriend’s plate delicious, and his hash browns [which I also steal] were all fancy with sour cream and green onions. A very positive experience, especially since I didn’t have to choose between two of my favorite fruits to top my waffle!
