Mmmm not that delicious and not really cheap either. But I personally like their golden jjajang. It’s very spicy though — many Koreans think so too. One thing you must congratulate them on is their modern fancy décor

Expensive, pretentious Korean-Chinese food. I never went back after the first time. I doubt that I’ll ever go back until they go out of business and someone else starts another restaurant there. Boring and bland food. No, it’s not for me.

They used to be Chun-Ji and do only Korean-style Chinese food … now they have changed their interior/food and turned it into a buffet on the weekends … the buffet is really cheap, considering how much the dishes cost normally. but the quality is meh especially since they do the cooking in the kitchen and bring out the food onto the table in the centre(no warming/buffet range things to keep them warm…) It kind of depends on your luck — if you go when most of the food is fresh, then you will get so much for your money’s worth. If the food’s all been sitting there for a while … meh I am leaning more towards 3.5 stars. It is cheap… and again, food can be fresh and delish. but not always. I gave them 3 stars because of the ‘luck’ factor. BTW, if you go there, stick to the chicken dishes… those are good :) and don’t get the noodles unless you actually saw them bring out more — if they’ve been sitting there more than 10 minutes, all the noodle will have lost its warmth & taste if you are into spicy food, their spicy chickens are very good :)

Did someone say 1.99 beer? Weekends only? If the promo is still on, i definitely recommend people to try it out. Weekend buffet was ok, not super but it’s ok. I’m not sure if they still have the buffet promo for 11.99 dinners but lunch was 9.99. Lots of options for food, some spicy, some mild. For the price, I would definitely recommend people to try it. Tip: pick the foods that seem to run out often ;)

Is Vancouver ready for a chichi-style Korean-style Chinese restaurant? My mom really wanted to check out this restaurant as they were aggressively marketing on her internet Korean Drama channel. When we arrived I was surprised at the décor. The room has fancy black and red chandeliers and all the servers are dressed in black uniforms with red ties. The restaurant calls itself Korean Fusion. Their interpretation of fusion was interesting. We had a cold julienned vegetable salad and it was garnished with thin slices of thousand year old egg. Their mandoo(dumplings) are definitely not worth writing home about. There seemed to be some kind of aromatic herb in the filling which didn’t taste very good to me. Their Jjampbbong broth was nothing special either. One of the ways they try to make the experience«fancier» is by taking away our side plates after every course and giving us new plates for each new course. My sister(the eco conscious one) thought this was a huge waste because of all the dishes the restaurant has to do and all the water going to waste. Overall, if you live in the neighbourhood go try it out for the experience, the pretty ambiance, and attentive servers. For the rest of us who dont live so close, I’m afraid it might not be worth the drive – at least for me it’s not. *** update: I originally gave this restaurant a 2, but I think it is closer to a 3. It’s not that bad, if you like that sort of fancy Korean restaurant experience thing.
