Probably the worst place I have ever gone. I have never in my life been treated so poorly than the way I was treated here. The place is not very taken care of, the receptionist just sits on Facebook and her phone doing nothing. The stylists are talking about things that don’t need to be talked about infront of clients. Oh and the owner. Don’t get me started on the owner, Lawrence is it? Yes. If you want to feel like a nobody. Go see him!
I have been going there quite often & usually I see the same person, this time I saw someone else, & it was HELL. I showed her a picture of what I wanted & she more or less told me what she was going to look good — I thought hey she’s a stylist, she’s a pro she couldn’t screw it up too bad right? Wrong! She did something completely different than I has asked for, she didn’t even ask me what I thought of it, she was MIA the whole time the color was sitting in my hair. right away she said it looked orange & I should use a toning shampoo to make it look better. I looked in the mirror right away & I wanted to cry. What has she done to my hair? It looked disgusting, it is orange & black, chunky oh & very fried!!!
I complained right away & said I wanted it fixed & they told me I could call & get it fixed for free! I was soo appreciative. I booked in for a fix, I’ve had my hair up since since it makes me feel absolutely insecure! I was than told 2 days after that I would not be getting a free fix, because it’s 1 not fair to the stylist (because I booked in with a different stylist because I was NOT letting Wynn? I think her name was. Touch my hair ever again.) & this was through a text from one of their stylists who the owner asked to message me? Real professional on the owners part.
So I than call & ask to speak to him. & all he has to say is nothing he can do & I cannot have a fix & that was that., he said some hurtful things & not to mention he said if I couldn’t afford a fix I couldn’t afford that salon? & that they could just get new clients
Really? Why should I have to pay for a fix?
That makes no sense! I was a loyal paying client aswell?
It’s been almost 2 weeks my hair is still up in a pony tail & they refuse to do anything for me.
Let’s be honest my hair looks like shit. Isn’t the whole point to make clients feel good about themselves?
I will never go back again. I have told all my family & friends as well, there was a discussion on my Facebook about it aswell. So many people complained about the way Lawrence had treated them, not very good customer service if so many people are unhappy. It’s a small town people talk.
Oh did I mention the stylist that offered to fix my hair. He fired? Ohhh such a professional place!
Go to Cochrane angles if you want to be treated terribly & hate your hair!!!

Lawrence is amazing and has been doing my hair for over 7 years! I travel from Shawnessy to Cochrane because I wouldn’t trust anyone else :)
