Same pub new management. This pub has been through numerous name changed through the many years since I’ve lived in Cloverdale and it’s still the same pub 15 years ago bug with a new name. Sigh. This is now a «gastro-pub» is what the website and signage say but how wrong they are in that sense. Having a few swanky tables and chairs does not justify this meaning of the public as the décor is like eating in a college dorm room. The walls and ceilings are also mess of hockey memorabilia that’s hanging and nailed down to any open areas available. If I wanted to see cluttered junk when I eat ill just go to Boston Pizza instead. The décor just kills the inside of the building indefinitely. Food was brutal, our waitress said the fish and chips were gigantic but resembled pieces of Captain Highliner with a cheap portion of fries. For $ 16 for a two piece huge tip off without a doubt. Should have gone with what the wife had and got the beef dip it looked really good. Pint glasses of beer were small too and the water was served in a plastic Molson Canadian cup, classy. Service was okay bug nothing too great, my friend ordered the fish and chips too but they got confused and brought out one piece instead and brought the second piece after everyone finished eating. Oh and they took away his cutlery too so he had to ask for some new ones. The servers seem nice, they appeal to creepers abound. Younger mid 20 year olds and older cougar types serving you. Ditto for the customer base too. As per usual sex sells with their innuendo shirts«bogys deck is bigger than my husbands» I asked the wife how does my deck compare to bogys? We don’t even have a deck at our house. Terrible. Go here for the eye candy and patio not the food and«uncle jims» basement décor
