New Look Carpet & Upholstery Cleaning

These folks came to clean our shag area rug that appeared quite dirty after humans and cats sitting on it for over 3 years :) It was taken for two full days into the warehouse to have it «professionally» cleaned. «New Look» is a third party business hired by local Sears, here in Chilliwack, B.C.
We had spent a GOOD amount of time discussing how great the shag will look after it’s all done.
We are NOT happy with the outcome at all. The shag appears dull and flat, there is still tons of pet hair in it. We have also found some of my husband’s old pills.
The color of the area rug has not brightened up, as promised. In other words, it still looks quite dirty.
The company is willing to do it again but forget a refund. You have to wonder why to go ahead with it at all? If it was already cleaned «professionally» (and they still stand by it) why to bother? Didn’t they deliver the first time?
Absolute waste of time and money — hardly a «New Look».
