Our first stay here went well. We stayed in an annex called Holland House, an older house consisting of 11 restored rooms. From what we heard, these rooms are superior to the ones in the motel’s main building. Our room was a bit on the small side, but it was comfortable and, importantly, had a really comfy bed. The AC made a consistent noise, which amounted to a «white» noise that meant we never heard anything from the adjoining rooms. Everything worked, and everything was clean. There is a free hot continental breakfast: a little fruit, eggs and sausage, bread and bagels, altogether not bad. The restaurant there serves lunch and dinner; we don’t usually select motel restaurants for dining, and we didn’t here. The front desk staff were all friendly and helpful, and it added up to an overall good experience. The price seems a bit on the high side, but the downtown location means you can park for free at the motel and easily walk to Charlottetown shops and restaurants.

My parents and I stayed here mid-renovations, apparently. Our rooms were across the hall from each other. Their room had been reno’ed; mine, not so much. Nice of them to charge the same price, though. The only«upgrade» in my room was the carpet. The TV was from 1981, the remote was missing the battery cover, the down volume button didn’t work, someone had tried to cover chips in the sink with gobs of white paint or something, the bathroom floor REALLY needed to be replaced … yeah, it wasn’t great. I won’t be returning to this hotel. Still, the ancient TV did work and the bed was clean. The Inn Restaurant is definitely geared toward seniors. The only thing missing was Jello. :-D We had brunch/lunch there; I tried their breakfast for«small appetites» and it was just the right size. The scrambed eggs were runny but otherwise the toast and bacon were good. They have an off-menu dessert of warm brownie with ice cream — I definitely recommend this one if you find yourself eating here. Otherwise their food is pretty standard senior-friendly fare with a lot of deep-fried options and the usual roast beef dinner. The server was friendly and overall it was a pretty good experience. Décor-wise the restaurant, much like my hotel room, needs to be brought into the 21st century.

Our stay here was excellent. Our room was in an annex building that is an old house recently converted into several rooms. The room felt brand new and was a suite style with two separate rooms for beds and a kitchen/living area. The house was quiet and the beds were comfortable. There’s no breakfast but wifi is free. We wished we could have stayed here longer.
