McClintock’s Ski School offers beginner through competitive water ski lessons, for all ages at reasonable rates with Canada’s top instructors.

Never skied before? Our beginner lessons start with dry land instruction. Then you will go out on the lake beside the boat on the boom, which is a special training tool we use to teach beginners. After a bunch of starts on the boom, you move on to the short rope off the boom, then finally behind the boat. We are proud to have a 99% success rate with beginners!

Competitively, we specialize in slalom, trick and jump. With our three slalom courses around the lake, we almost always have perfect ski conditions! We also offer beginner to intermediate wakeboard lessons all summer long and wake skate lessons during select times.

If you don’t need instruction and just want to go for a ski ride you can join our Club or just purchase a ride.

Lessons are taught on the water, with one to one personalized instruction and lasts approximately fifteen minutes. Everyone learns at a different pace, so you don’t have to feel pressured or uncomfortable with your lesson. Fifteen minutes doesn’t seem very long, but we work you hard and you will be very TIRED when your lesson is complete.

History

Established in 1973.

I’m Jason McClintock, and my Grandpa McClintock bought the ski school so my Dad, my Uncles and my Aunt could train. My Uncle Joel, Aunt Judy, and my dad Jeff all made their way onto the Canadian National Team. While on the Team both my Aunt and Uncle earned World Titles.

The Ski School was passed down to my Dad, this is were I grew up skiing with my sister Whitney. We are both currently on the Canadian National Team, and I am now spending my summers at the dock coaching and keeping up with my training.

The next generation is born! I recently had my first child, a baby boy. We will be at the dock over the next 20+ years skiing and enjoying our summers on the water together!

I am the Head Coach, and ski dock Manager. I handle all the Pro lessons, and the competitive skiers that come through McClintock’s. I get kids ready for upcoming tournaments, and help them work on new skills to maximize scores.
