Their burger is good. Need work on their fries. Why can’t they have fresh cut fries???

You can believe it’s THE best burger you will ever have, soup selection is amazing! Build your own burger or there is the Special of the Day(or week as they are in high request) Really glad we found this little gem and will come back when in from California

Great independent atmosphere that really makes you feel at home. The burger was fresh, not some pre-packaged thing, served on a fresh egg bun with a generous portion of toppings. Fresh cut shoe string fries. Pretty much everything I can ask for in a burger joint all for under $ 10, will turn into my regular lunch whenever I’m in Cambridge.

Hidden little gem in Cambridge. Thankfully the old saying you have to pay for quality doesn’t really apply. Don’t get me wrong — it’s not cheap by any means, but the quality, ingredients and add-ons are just out of this world. Fresh, tasty, great staff. The atmosphere at first threw me off — but now I see as it adds to the ambiance, the special something something that makes Louie’s incredible. Hours and location are a bit limiting. YUMMY

Food — Yummy The burgers here are really juicy, but I think mine turned out a little bland because of the 4 toppings I ordered: tomato, lettuce, aged cheddar cheese, and sauteed mushrooms with tzaziki sauce. For next time, I might pick a more flavourful sauce and change the mushrooms to pickles, and the aged cheddar cheese actually turned out to be 3 large blocks, instead of a flat slice like I expected. For the price though, it’s actually pretty decent. I chose the fries for my side order and they gave such a generous portion, I didn’t even put a dent in it; I was so full already! Service — Friendly and welcoming The waitresses here are all very genuinely friendly and want to help you. You can tell that they really care about customer service and want you to have a good time! When you’re done eating, they come right away to collect the dishes. Atmosphere — Great I came here around 1pm on a Thursday, and it was actually super busy, both inside and outside on the benches. We were intimidated to eat inside because it looked so full, but when we went inside, there were actually a lot of places to sit in the back. I noticed that everyone eating here had a smile on their face and left happy and full. The décor is very open and inviting. It’s so retro and cute and resembles a cute diner from the 80’s. There are a lot of classic posters, and I enjoyed looking around while waiting for my meal. Overall, it’s a nice place to come for lunch if you want a satisfying homemade, juicy burger. I would come here again, but if I had to choose between this place and McDonald’s, I would actually choose the latter.

First of all, I would have given 5 stars if they didn’t forget my bacon. Since bacon doesn’t cost extra, and my burger was so good I wasn’t to worried about it. My food was awesome, the staff friendly and the place clean. Easily the best burger in Cambridge. Family friendly and a nice atmosphere. I will be eating here again.

Wonderful home made burgers here! Juicy, delicious, perfectly cooked on egg buns. The fries are good too and there are lot of them. Two can easily share one order of fries. We ordered the beef burgers with Swiss, mushrooms, fried onions and lettuce with a dash of mayo. OMG — To die for! The 5 oz burger is more than enough, but they do offer larger options as well. The place is very small, and the décor is like an old time 50’s diner. Quite pleasant and appealing. The staff are great! Friendly, efficient and quick to explain everything. Two chefs came out of the kitchen at different times(we happened to be sitting near the back kitchen door) and asked if we enjoyed our meals. Great food, great prices super service — what more could anyone want. Wish we lived in Cambridge!

Formally Hennings now Little Louie’s, very famous for their fries and gravy back in the day. Now, still good, everything seems fresh… Those were the days. Anyone else remember Hennings, say hello!

I went here for dinner after reading so many positive reviews on Unilocal. Upon first glance, this place is small, charming and inviting. It looks like a large trailer, parked on the side of the road, and the friendly counter staff are right there when you walk in, waiting with a smile. The ordering experience was definitely unique. I loved getting the little sheet and checking off what I wanted, not only because it allowed me to personalize my burger, but also because my guest’s burger was a surprise when it came out, too! I really wanted to try their Ginger Snap malted milkshake, but they were out of milkshakes(?!) when we arrived. The burger itself was seasoned well, and was moist. I would have preferred if it was a little pink in the middle, as it well done ground beef just doesn’t taste that great. My burger was topped with sundried tomatoes, smoked gouda, BBQ sauce, grilled pineapple, and a fried egg. My only complaint was that the pineapple was canned — what a shame! I would definitely go again, but I think I might try the onion rings or a salad as a side. The«frites» looked like they came from the bottom of the basket(all little odds and ends, overcooked) and weren’t seasoned at all.

Small town feel inside and simple. It was actually bigger than I expected when I walked in. The ordering process is simple and there are enough choices so get what you want without being overwhelmed. I love how they offer their burgers in 5oz as well as 8oz sizes. The 5oz with fries is the perfect amount to be satisfied but not overstuffed.

Restaurant is small, nothing fancy, located in a residential area that does not stand out when you drive by. They are only open Mon-Fri until 8pm, would like to be able to get my FAVOURITE burgers on the weekends. The burgers are wonderful, juicy, well seasoned, served on home made egg buns. You choose type of burger(beef, turkey, chicken, veggie), size, gourmet toppings and sauces, and side(best home cut frites). Burger of the week is always something interesting. Soups are great too. Staff is great too!

We discovered this place by chance! We had driven by it but not paid much attention to the spot. Then while searching the net for places to eat. It came up as one of the top places in Cambridge. We loved it! We’re gone back a few times and have even blogged about: The burgers are so delicious and the soups are gourmet. Just excellent.

Great burgers!!! I would love to see an organic beef option on the menu in the future and yes I would pay more for it. When I’m in Cambridge visiting the folks I make sure to come here! The only reason this place doesn’t get 5 stars is that their salad was just okay. I’ll be back in the summer when I return to The Bridge!

Hands down the best burgers I’ve had in my life! Steve(the owner of Little Louie’s) makes the tastiest, juiciest burgers gourmet style. We usually come here once a week to get our burger fix. Its really close to my work so its easy to drop in and get a bite to eat. I love how you can pick the ingredients in your burger! The size of your burger patty and what type of meat you want pork, turkey, beef or veggie. Served with your selection of garnishes like cheeses, hickory smoked bacon, sauteed mushrooms etc., the lists goes on! Also every week depending on the demand, they have enticing burgers of the week that takes you to a whole new level. But wait for it… wait for it! They don’t JUST serve burgers, Hubby(soup savant) loves their cream of potato and bacon soup, veal gumbo and clam chowder. And Steve’s wife makes delicious little cookie treats, like chocolate chip cookies, oatmeal cookies, ginger snaps and many more. Its definitely your friendly neighborhood restaurant, very popular in Cambridge. The only set back is they are only open on the week days. Essentially awesome service and the owners are super friendly!

What can be said? This place has fantastic burgers, that use high quality meat that you can really taste: tastes more like steak than a burger. All the trimmings are freshly prepared, and the atmosphere is like a traditional diner. Friendly staff, and you have the option to eat in, or take out. Not to be outdone, there are three soup specials every day, and they are homemade. The quality is surprising for such a place, but then again, the owners are gourmet chefs, that add that little extra to make the food and atmosphere right. I highly recommend it.
