I don’t normally take the time to write negative reviews but I am still fuming from by far the worst customer experience I have ever had. I was looking for a fabric spray the website said was in stock in the store and I asked two ladies who were chatting about their weekend plans where it was and they said they couldn’t help me even though I had the UPC code and they both were equipped with the scanners. Then I tried a different department and the elderly lady snapped at me very rudely and said to go to customer service. Then I spent 20 minutes at customer service while the ladies didn’t know how to use the computer and were arguing over whose turn it was to go on break. Then, finally, they told me to go BACK to the department I just came from where the disgruntled woman already told me it wasn’t her job to help me. I ended up leaving the store without the product I came to buy and rest assured I will not be returning to this location.

I love the location of this Walmart because it is in walking distance! The 3 stars comes from the fact that it’s either not as stocked as other walmart stores or the fact that it is a super busy location that all the sale items(or popular) are always off the shelves! I also find that due to this there is a lack in some selection. The prices are cheap as always though — which means I’m still going to be a dedicated shopper!

What can I say about WalMart. Good prices. Friendly staff. Lots of stuff. This WalMart was renovated a few years ago to add the grocery section. It’s not bad but for me, if I’m buying groceries, I’ll use Superstore or Coop.

I know when Walmart announced they were going to open«supercenters» in Canada, grocery chains like Safeway were nervous. Yet another«discount» grocer to take away their business. Personally, I liked the idea… I occasionally visit Walmart for things like wiper blades or DVD’s, Random stuff I might need at the time, and why not grab groceries for dinner while I’m at it? Well, the concept is better than the execution. I am a carnivore, and almost always pick up meat for a meal. Unfortunately, Walmart’s meat department is subpar. To say the least. Looking at the beef in particular, the counter was poorly stocked with iffy cuts only, and a lot of it was looking«old.» Grey beef just doesn’t do it for me. The produce is somewhat limited as well. The basics, and nothing more. With that in mind, I’d typically need to stop in at a Safeway/Sobey’s/Superstore to prepare a meal anyhow, so I’ll give Walmart a pass when it comes to food. 6⁄30

Open 24 hours and now equipped with a grocery store. This place has everything! I recommend going at 2am when its dead, you get the whole store to yourself.
