Vine Arts is Calgary’s most creative wine shop. Located in the heart of Victoria Park, we specialize in wines and spirits from around the globe! We separate our wine by style rather than country or region to add to the experience. Smooth and sexy? Rich and creamy? Spicy, earthy, funky? No matter what mood you’re in we’ve got the right wine for you.

We also offer a unique collection of spirits and cocktail supplies, including Fee Brothers Bitters, an awesome selection of Scotch Whisky and much more.

History

Established in 2012.

Vine Arts Wine and Spirits is the brainchild of two local wine lovers, Jeff Jamieson and Jesse Willis, who thought that the revitalized community of Victoria Park was the perfect home to launch Calgary’s most creative wine shop.

Our goal was simple… to take the pretention and mystery out of wine and to share our passion for fun, funky and interesting wines and spirits from around the globe.

Meet the Business Owner

Business Owner

In his relatively short time in the business Jesse has established himself as one of Calgary’s top wine professionals. After graduating from the International Sommelier Guild’s diploma program in 2008, Jesse went on to become an ISG instructor, teaching wine education courses at SAIT. Jesse has worked at many of Calgary’s top wine boutiques and has consulted for some of Calgary’s top restaurants. In addition to being the co-​owner and general manager of Vine Arts Wine and Spirits, Jesse serves as the wine director at Taste restaurant and Mango Shiva.

Jesse’s passions include Crossfit, wine geekery, food and writing.
