Used – House Of Vintage

Woman at the front doesn’t even bother to greet you nor say bye once you leave the store. You don’t feel welcome at all and thank god the clothes are authentic although it doesn’t make up for the horrible customer service.

Very good but its hit and miss some times they have awesome sweaters and great rings! Although the staff is very friendly and very clean inside it is a cozy little Vintage shop located on 17^th avenue!

Walked into Used on a Thursday at noon. The place was dead, and the girl at the front don’t bother to greet me, since she was too busy talking on the phone to her friend. The store had a very musty, moth ball smell, like clothes that have been stuck in storage for too long. Anyway, once the salesgirl got off the phone, she still didn’t bother to say hi or goodbye as I was leaving either.
The only reason I have given Used a 3 star is because they have affordable prices for their wares. Can’t say I much liked the choices, but then again they do depend on what is brought in.
Won’t be buying anything here ever.

I always admire the window displays at Used whenever I walk by. It wasn’t until I was out looking for vintage dresses with Sylvie C that we ventured inside.
There’s a little bit of everything in this shop, men’s and women’s clothes, jewelry, purses and shoes… *flip over the price tag* OMG! And it’s crazy affordable too. Boutique shops have a habit of being cutsy and fun, but also of leaving you with an empty bank account. Not the case at Used. Sweet little dresses for under $ 50, vintage t-​shirts for around the $ 20 price point, and all kinds of styles and sizes.
The best part? Used has the clothes inside to back up the cool window displays. I don’t know how many times I’ve been drawn in by a good window display only to discover those were the only shopping-​worthy items in the store.

COMPLETELY revolted and dis-​satisfied with the ‘customer service’ or LACK thereof at this location.
I had a verbal agreement with the shift lead/​acting supervisor named Sara/​Sarah upon purchasing an item. The verbal agreement was that I would most certainly be returning the next day for a second item as I had left my wallet at work (down the street) (I was on my break) we co-​ordinated a time for the following day that would be convenient for both schedules and I left the store thrilled with my first purchase. When I returned the NEXT DAY to purchase the second item (at the time we had arranged) said woman sarcastically and rudely informed me that she sold the item I had placed on hold not only was she inconsiderate but she tried to reverse the blame by claiming «if you had tried the item on I definitely would have saved it for you»…
I’m not only upset with the fact that she sold it, I’m upset that a store I frequent could treat me so dis-​honestly. Since when do you have to try something on to place it on hold? If I went into any other store on that block and placed an item on hold do you think they would sell it behind my back? I think not. I highly suggest being completely weary of this place… they’re only out to take your money, obviously. I am still anxiously awaiting to speak to an actual manager or owner regarding this matter and MAY change my review upon speaking with such representative.
all in all: QUITE disappointed :(

Conveniently located on 17^th Ave, Used-​House Of Vintage is a little shop that sells used vintage clothing and goods (go figure).
Whether you’re looking for fashion rings, fashion boots, or just some plain’, ol’ fashion, Used carries a vast array of hand-​me-​downs.
The staff is helpful and the prices are extremely reasonable.
If you get a kick outta consignment shopping, you’ll want to add Used to your list of places to check out.
