We had the smocked salmon taco and we thought it wasnt very good. The service was slow too and it seemed like they werent ready for the number of people because they ran out of fish and chips.

I went to the Food Truck Frenzy tonight and I have to say that I was very underwhelmed by The Happy Fish. It was busy, so I understand that wait times were longer than usual. Despite the crazy wait, the staff were friendly which is why I’m giving an extra star. The food was very disappointing though. I had the smoked salmon tacos (they were out of my first two choices) and the kale slaw was very bland and lacking in flavor. The salmon was underseasoned as well. I had high hopes as I heard good things about this truck. I might give them a second chance in the future as I overheard someone saying the fish and chips was delicious. I love me some fish and chips, so perhaps not ruling them out yet. Just really don’t recommend the smoked salmon tacos.

Definitely one of my favourite good trucks in Calgary. They have been parked outside the Bow almost daily this summer, and it is hard to resist the smell of fresh fish and chips!
Their fish is fresh, yummy batter and tartar sauce. Excellent fries. My boyfriend had the mango fish tacos and loved them. Super friendly service as well.
