tldr version: Wow. Just terrible. Avoid it at all costs. «It couldn’t be that bad,» you’re thinking. Okay, now that you’ve entertained that thought, karate chop yourself in the throat for being so stupid and then find somewhere else to get your furniture. We purchased our furniture on December 27. We were constantly hounded by different salesmen. One seemed more genuine than the others, so we went to him with our questions. The others all seemed to back off, like some sort of wolf pack. We were promised our furniture by NOLATER than January 15, although he said, «that’s the very latest; it will probably be sooner than that.» That date came and went. We phoned for info, and they were out of stock. «Of everything?» «No, just the table and sofa. Do you want a split shipment?» «Does it cost extra?» «No.» Well, what do you think? Why would they even ask? «No, I want it all to arrive together; I want to wait longer than I have to, and really look forward to building everything at once.» We called our salesman, Mubarik, who told us that in fact, everything is in stock. He said to call the delivery team back and say we want everything, but not to mention his name. How infuriating! What kind of Mickey Mouse operation is this? When we called delivery, they restated what they had said originally – the coffee table and end tables were not in stock. The following Friday, all but the coffee table and end tables arrived. The furniture was as expected. Last week, they told us they would be delivering the remainder of our order on Thursday. I said okay, but had to make special arrangements to have someone at the house that day. The shipment was to arrive between 12:30 and 3:30(at least they have fairly small delivery windows, although they were 30 minutes late the first time). I got a call on my cell – at 2 pm – stating that they wouldn’t be coming. «The table got broken.» How the HELL does that happen? Did the truck roll over? Honestly. I called right away to speak to Mubarik. I was put on hold three times in a row. The fourth time she tried to put me on hold, I said, «I just want to speak to Mubarik.» She said they were all really busy because of some sale. Fine. They took a message and said he would call me back. He called back at 5 pm, which I missed, but then he called again the next day. I expressed my frustration, but he either didn’t really care or didn’t understand me. He said he needed to reschedule the shipment, and would do so for next Thursday. «No. Thursdays don’t work. I already had to make special arrangements and have someone go out of their way, which your delivery guys screwed up. I can’t do Thursday.» «I have to put something. I’ll put Thursday and you can call our delivery team to change it.» «No. I said it can’t be Thursday.» «Yes, sir. You just need to call the delivery team and they’ll change it.» «Whatever.» I hung up. Sure enough, they called me Wednesday night(an automated call) to remind me of the delivery. They called again Thursday morning. I told him not to bother; no one will be home. So, it’s now February 7 and I don’t have all my furniture. If they come next week, it will be a full month past the GUARANTEED delivery date. I paid $ 150 to have this furniture delivered to an out-of-town address, and have been offered NOTHING as compensation for their inability to meet their promises. I think they’re completely oblivious to their own incompetence. Avoid the Brick at all costs. An utter failure of service. It’s like each team(delivery, sales, and warehouse) are a hand, foot, and leg. Except they’re on different bodies – in different countries – and either can’t or don’t want to talk to each other.

best place to be harrast, followed, constaintly having a person breath down your neck so close that my butt felt his breath. So like any man, turning around and saying a few kind and direct points DID make this annoying person go away(FORABOUT5MINUTES) that bought me enough time to get to another area of the store, i swear the sum of a b*tch jumped out the fridge and was like there right in front of me again. by this time i was a) Gonna Tell Him to F Off or b) Smack the tast out of his dirty scanky breath, finally c) just let his Manager know he is one creepy bastard that needs to let customers look before buying a bloody $ 1400 sofa. which one did i choose well, i’m doing this review from Spy Hill Prison. lol

I wonder why this place has 3 filtered reviews? I guess I am not the only customer who has had issues with the crappy quality of the furniture I purchased and atrocious customer service I received. The only redeeming quality to this establishment is their management. They are top notch but the amount of phone calls you need to put in to get one is crazy and pretty much the only time you are guaranteed to talk to one is if you go in person, which I had done. Great managers aside, this place has some of the worst furniture I had ever purchased, one of my sofa’s got a water stain on it and they sent in a repair tech to assess. SERIOUSLY– water stained this thing! I was told by the repair guy that they have had several issues some of the Bricks furniture and it was determined that they would replace it. The movers even complained that so much crap is returned from the Brick that it keeps them employed! My sons bedroom suite armoire had to be replaced 3 times and all three times the door was broken. The repair guy they sent basically glued it together and said he fixed it. 24hrs later, it was splitting again and when I called customer service they told me that it was repaired. I fought back and told them I will send pictures if they needed proof. I take it they wanted to get rid of me and told me if they gave it to me at 50% off would I leave them alone(ps. it is now at the point that this armoire is discontinued!) I took the 50% discount and got a wood guy to fix it for the value of the discount, but at least it works now, no thanks to the Brick. I also ordered a set of leather couches. I was told that they were not in stock and should be in no later than 4 – 6 weeks. I am a patient person but after 6MONTHS had passed and no couches, I told them to take all their crap furniture and shove it because by contract, I was informed that it would be less than 6 weeks-not 6 months, heck I would have no problem if it was even 3 months! A manager stepped in and basically agreed to a refund after I had to rip them a new one, getting the refund however, took long and they had to split it up over a couple of days since the invoices were separated(something they did). It took some time but in the end I was happy to have my money back and to get out of dealing with the Brick. The only reason they got two stars was because the manager happened to be a really understanding and great guy to deal with. I would have given them 1 star because of their obvious furniture issues, lying about dates and if you have ever called their customer service for an update, you will quickly learn that every agent you talk to will tell you something different and they talk to you like you called them at their home and went out of your way to annoy them. I guess dropping over $ 15,000.00 on some furniture really warrants being treated like garbage, meh. The Brick does have some great prices on several items like mattresses, appliances and electronics, and I say hey, if you get a great price why not, however, when it comes to their furnishings, they are often cheaply made and can be found on-line for way cheaper if you get the name of the manufacturer. P. S. I ended up getting most of my new furnishings from Costco which I LOVE for about the same price without dealing with sales people and the quality was phenomenal!
