Probably one of the worst locations I have been to. Service was average and one of the baristas was definitely in a «mood» and was super rude.

Great ambience. Some of the staff comes across as being on ambien. Not too congenial and not too thrilled to be there. Seating and wifi is superb. There can be a wait for the single bathroom. Clientele comes across as snooty but it’s a great place to hang out, people watch and get work done. A little risky on a hot summer day since silicone melts at these temperatures.

It’s a Starbucks… what is there to say? They are consistent, fast and friendly. Why am I bothering with a review of a Starbucks? I’ll tell you why — this is the best Starbucks in Calgary! I am a roaming office type person(ie. wherever I am, there is my office). I love going places to work where the energy is good and the air is abuzz with good conversation. I came here because my car was in the shop down the street and I needed a place to work. I have been going back because I met such great people that day and found that it’s relaxing place to be, despite the fact that it is also one of the busiest locations in the city. Huge bonus — the patio has power outlets… not many, but if you can snag the right table… Keep up the good work!

A great location due to its proximity to a grocery store, liquor store, and other specialty shops — such convenience! I also love that this location has patio seating area, a great place to spend hours in the sun reading your book and sipping on a deliciously crafted beverage. Service has always been good here, friendly and efficient. Usually quite busy, even in the middle of the day, so keep this in mind if you are planning meetings or studying without headphones. Definitely a cozy atmosphere that I enjoy.

While some might say its just another Starbucks, this one has a few key features that add to its appeal: 1) ample parking(on street or Safeway lot) 2) sunny south facing patio 3) dog friendly(I see more dogs here than at any other coffee place) 4) shiny happy people Make no mistake, this place is very busy on weekends but they’ve added a row of bar chairs along the west facing window that ensure you can find a place to sit even during the busiest times.

This is my neighborhood Starbucks and my favourite. Staff is friendly and know me by name(shows how often I am there) and store is will stocked. Staff is quick with your order, but be careful on weekends, can be a zoo!

The reason I’m a fan of this Starbucks is for the following reasons: — It’s located in the perfect place for a coffee joint(right in the core of a hip shopping centre in Marda Loop) — It’s located right next to Canadian Hippy Nails so you can pick up a coffee and then go to get your nails did — The staff is friendly — The crowd is happy(everyone wanted everyone to go first) — They’ve got a good assortment of baked goods that were well stocked and fresh — And of course, the same ol’, same ol’ Starbucks bevvies All in all, the perfect place for a java jolt! Could use a few more tables and a bigger space, but I’ll make do with what I’ve got ;)
