This is a review compared to other Starbucks locations, not compared to other no-chain cafés!
They have a big window front and nice seating; a big long table and several small ones, a few of them are hidden behind a shelf so you get a bit more privacy. All chairs are the simple hard ones though, no comfy armchairs.
While I sitting there one of the staff members came around with some samples, this was such a nice and yummy surprise!
It’s located pretty well at a small strip mall, right next to the northland mall. Enough parking outside, bus stop, a bank (RBC) and most important: Menchies is right next door :)

I go to allot of coffee shops, most days I am in at least one. Starbucks are ones I frequent since I know what to expect most of the time. Service and product is always fairly consistant — most of the time. Not all the time.
This paticular location I have never been too. Not the most organized Starbucks but they got my macchiatto right, service was quick and the staff was nice.
The «non-organized» part was a couple people who were waiting for their beverages got missed. So I got mine before there’s which shouldn’t be the case since they ordered before me. A couple un-happy people and I don’t blame them first thing in the morning. Coffee is serious business!
My experience was good. Quick and easy process.

This is my «local» Starbucks. Aka, the one right by my work. My coworkers and I frequently stop in here in the AM for a little beverage before work. The staff is familiar, and typically recognize me. Great go-to in the morning, and seems to be always busy.

I was grumpy this morning (running errands in the snow!) so I stopped at the Starbucks across from the Northland Village Mall. My mood didn’t improve when I found out they were out of the kind of tea I wanted. No big deal, I’ll have a soy latte. Oh, they were also out of soy milk. Ummm… I’ll take a water? Unfortunately the bar where they stock lids and condiments was not tidy, nor did I think there was appropriate seating. I’ve still got lots of holiday Starbucks cards to use, but I’ll be going to other locations!
