Every once in a while you need a squadron of washing machines to help you out, and Sparkle is just such a helpful place. In addition to the usual top-​loading washers, they have a small fleet of front loading washers which can accommodate larger loads or items. As for amenities, there’s a coin machine, a coin-​operated laundry soap machine, a washroom (bring your own towel), and some uncomfortable benches. The coin machine didn’t convert my new plastic 20-​dollar bill to loonies, but there is a nice coffee shop on the other side of the building. Although the place is open til 10pm, last wash is at 9.
