The Salt Crystal Health Center is the first halotherapy health center and salt room in Calgary, Alberta to offer a natural, safe and drug free treatment that can be used by people with respiratory diseases, allergy, asthma, cystic fibrosis, skin diseases, as well as many other health related issues. Almost half a million Calgarians suffer from respiratory illnesses and eczema. The Salt Crystal Health Center provides salt room sessions to these individuals in 15 – 20 minute sessions (infants), 35 minute sessions (children) and 50 minute sessions (adults) in which a Halogenerator transforms pharmaceutical salt to a fine dust and disperses it into the room. The salt rooms are designed for tranquility as much as therapy allowing patients to sit and relax while enjoying a peaceful and rejuvenating experience.

After her daughter had surgery performed on her nose to correct a medical issue, the owner of the Salt Crystal Health Center and concerned mother, was looking for an alternative and complimentary treatment to medication that would help her daughter with her respiratory issues. While visiting her native Russia, friends suggested that she try halotherapy, a proven treatment for people suffering from respiratory ailments and skin conditions. It’s because of her strong desire to make a difference that she and the Salt Crystal Health Center team will reach their goals to improve the quality of life of the estimated three million Canadian men, women and children that suffer from respiratory illnesses and respiratory diseases such as allergies, asthma, cystic fibrosis and skin diseases and other health related issues.
