Seriously disappointed with them of late…
I LOVE their food! I live in the far NW and will drive here just for lunch and by far the favourite is their ginger beef. Not overly battered like most, perfectly crispy and the sauce… oh the sauce is good. Problem is for the past couple months they’re always sold out. Now I understand if its late in the day but the last two times it was only 12:30.
I asked the owner today why and was told that the cost of beef is so expensive these days. WTH? Fine, its expensive… pass it on to the customer like everyone else!

I used to work at the market and these guys never disappoint!
My only complaint would be that I was constantly burning my mouth on the delicious wontons in the wonton soup as I couldn’t wait to eat them!
And when I was on a clear liquid diet for a day they gave me free broth! How sweet is that?!?
Super friendly staff and delicious food — if you go to the market make sure to stop by!

Stumbled on this little place at the farmers market because it seemed to be the least busy… but was pleasantly surprised. Great assortment of dim sum for 1.30 each. I’m now a regular and am hoping not too many people discover this little gem. Cash only though!

Ahh shanghai fine food ! A staple for me at the farmers market. This is a nice little family operation ran by a very nice couple who always remember me and sometimes will give something extra on the house!
The food? DUMPLINGS! They put some magic in those things let me tell you! One of the best dumplings I have ever had. It’s not your typical dumpling, it has a very nice gingery flavor that compliments the pork so so nicley. Must be the family recipe and I bet they keep it a secret!
The other stuff is great to, they have ginger beef, rice noodles, mixed veg etc… Obviously at food vendor places like this it can be hit or miss, depending on how long the food has sat. But the flavour is always present, and I will never let that fact stop me!
So next time you are at the farmers market come and try this place, the dumplings are a MUST. Check it out!

This little stall in the Calgary Farmers’ Market purveys some of the finest bao (dumplings/​stuffed buns) I’ve ever had. Prawn, pork, chicken/​mushroom/​spinach, and shui mai (basically, dumplings on a skewer) are all delicious. Being a farmers’ market, there are many places to choose food from, but having sampled many of them, I never go back to any place but this now. I recommend the Dim Sum Plate. They also sell a variety of their delicacies, like the handmade dumplings and noodles, to take home and cook yourself, although I’ve not tried it. Nor have I tried the hand-​made sausage, ginger beef, and various other tasty looking items that abound — I want to some day, but first I need to some how convince myself to bypass the bao for one meal. And that won’t be easy.
