Safeway

Usually disappointed when I go here. Produce is always wiped out… today it was extra bad. They had a sign up (very hidden) saying they had issues beyond their control for their lack of produce but honestly this is the usual for this location. I really felt for the guy that was trying to stock in there. Produce is always lacking. They are also lacking in the meat selection, especially the chicken, today they had none! Finally, watch the prices… tags and what goes through on till; ripped off on a regular basis. By the time you leave and figure it out. I don’t have the time to go back. This is really frustrating.
I get ticked when I go to the pharmacy here too, the people behind the desk are not friendly and you have to wait sooo long for them to take your prescription or ask you your name for your prescription; yes they acknowledge you but it never fails, you have to wait. No Airmiles on prescriptions now too. I would rather go to Co-​op, at least they’re friendly, have nice produce and the Co-​op benefits are good and they are competitive with their prices. unlike Safeway.
Another thing about Safeway… why put the gas saving on the receipt when there is no Safeway gas station to be found by that location… this just ticks me off.

It’s decent, but it’s Safeway. Their produce selection at this location is not very good. Limited selection, and sometimes their citrus looks terrible. Fresh meat is decent and their chicken and pork selection seems good. If your looking for anything unique, you may not find it here. Bakery selection can be good for baked breads, but get their early.
Good for the essentials, milk, common fruit and vegetables.
