Renfrew Auto Service

A friend recommended Renfrew Auto to me a couple of years ago, and now I won’t take my car anywhere else. Being a woman who knows nothing about cars (and always seems to own crappy cars that need lots of little repairs!) I have dealt with a lot of different places and they usually overcharge me, recommend totally unnecessary and expensive repairs, or are really condescending. I’ve been to Renfrew Auto a few times now and I find them to be really up front about everything — they always let me know which repairs are necessary now, and which ones could probably wait. They usually offer me a couple of different options too so I always know what I’m paying for and never feel like I’m paying for things I don’t want. On top of all that I always feel like I’m being treated with respect — the people there are really friendly and professional. They take the time to explain things to me without talking down to me (which I can’t say for a lot of the other places I’ve dealt with). They also don’t have long wait times and can usually fit me in on pretty short notice. I always leave there feeling confident in the work they’ve done and that I haven’t paid too much for it. I can’t say enough positive things about this place!

I honestly felt that this was a very good shop. I called them in a panic because my mother in law (who was visiting from out of province on a road trip to calgary) had her car break down while starting on her way back home. She had already been staying at my place for 7 days sooo we needed to get that car fixed asap! Haha. This shop took us in on short notice, gave 3 options at 3 different price points, and recommended the most cost effective way for her to get herself & her car home in 1 piece.
they were reasonably priced and explained everything. They evem spoke with 1 of our family members by phone who is more car savvy so that they could discuss the issues and overall did a great job. I will use them again and i habe recommended them to others. They werent pushy and gave time for us to discuss and sort out funds and decide on which option to take.
