Primal Soup was created in 1996 to fill a niche in the market that had been missing for thousands and thousands of years…
Well, not quite, but as Baby Boomers evolved into conscientious eaters… there was a need for wholesome, healthy foods, cooked in the style that «Mom used to Make»… minus the cellophane, preservatives
and chemicals that nature never intended…
By the way, even though Primal Soup dates to 1996, the recipes have been tweaked and tested for 30 Years!

Business Owner
Margaret is practically an institution in Calgary. Being gluten-intolerant yet an avid chef, she was one of the first to pioneer a Gluten Free lifestyle through her imaginative and organically sourced soups.
From McBean’s to Primal Grounds to Primal Eats, she’s dedicated to delicious eats for 30 years, always thinking of new recipes and fantastic ideas to try. But more importantly, people love to visit not just for the food, but for her beaming smile and great advice on flavours.
