Prairie House Deli & Catering

Warm, friendly service compliments some of the best Indian food I’ve had since my last trip to India, where we drove through Punjab on a culinary journey. Steve, Ajay & Sam serve an experience that will blow your taste buds away. Try their paneer do pyaza, chicken tikka masala & lamb roganjosh and work your way through the menu.

I’ve never used this place as a catering company, so this review is solely based on the deli aspect.
As a deli and sandwich shop, I would say this place meet standards, but doesn’t really exceed them. You can get a good sandwich that may or may not fill you up (depending on toppings chosen) but for a bit of coin. The sandwiches they serve are quite pricey, averaging somewhere around $ 6 for half a sandwich. They do make a mean Vietnamese-​style sub though. It comes with all the usual fixings and definitely fills the belly hole!
The service is a little slow and it may take a bit for your food to actually get to you, but it’ll taste pretty good which makes up for it. I don’t have any complaints about the quality of food at Prairie House, just about the prices and time.
It’s a fine establishment and I suspect they have a great catering service. Perhaps one day I’ll actually need to use it.
