Phone Freaks

I was in Calgary last month on vacation and had an emergency with my cell phone that needed an immediate fix. After looking up Phone Freaks online, they fixed my phone within minutes of arrival and offered amazing customer service in the process. Highest recommendation possible for anyone who lives in the area!

As soon as I walked in the store the person behind the counter right off the bat was rude! «What can I do?» in an über rude voice. I brought my phone in with no explanation of what I thought was wrong with it, «it’s slow and was not working properly» I said, hence the reason I’m bringing the phone in! He looked at me and said…” Well I can’t tell you what’s wrong with it and I can’t tell you how long it’s gonna take”. Very very snappy. I almost couldn’t believe I was being talked to like this. I said first of all I didn’t ask how long it would take, and judging by your tone your not a confident person and said, «I’ll take my business else where». Low and behold I was able to fix my phone myself after watching a few you-​tube videos, in less than 2hours.
Bottom line: this business is a joke. Bunch of idiots.

I came to Phone Freaks after having received quotes of 4 weeks’ wait (to order the part and labour to fix it) and way more than seemed normal to charge from 4 other companies to replace the shattered screen on my LG phone. Phone Freaks took my phone in on a Tuesday and had it back to me by Friday, having been happy to set me up with a loaner phone over the few days so I at least had a working phone in the meantime. The cost came in almost $ 100 less than what most other places had quoted me for. I couldn’t be happier with my experience with Phone Freaks. Very quick and very efficient!
