I am hear early in the day and the whole store looks like a bomb went off. The store isn’t even busy and yet there are no employees to be found except for the kid at the change rooms who doesn’t give a crap. There are literally clothes all over the floor and falling off the racks(see photos). I am going to go out of my way to avoid this location in the future I suggest you do too in order to avoid a truly frustrating experience.

I’m not a huge fan of Old Navy but I find it’s good for 3 things: cheap camisoles, cheap t-shirts and cheap jeans. I usually need these for hanging around the house and at Stampede time. Generally, the products are too long for me(I’m 5’3) but I can get away with long-ish casual t-shirts. And the jeans have tall, regular & short, which I LOVE. Plus, they fit my figure. They have four different styles with different cuts. They always have sales on so that your purchase gets marked way down at the till but beware giving them your email address — they can be a bit spammy. At times the store can be messy and there’s usually a wait at the disaster of a dressing room but I’ll keep dropping by when I need to rotate out my around-the-home duds.

I’ll be honest — I’ve only shopped at Old Navy a handful of times, but I can definitely appreciate all that it is. If you’re lookin’ for clothing and accessories for the young/casual type, DEFINITELY head to Old Navy. They’ve got everything from plaid pajamas to skater pants and shirts, and the prices are unparalleled in any other clothing store. They’ve got AMAAAAZING deals on T-shirts(Ie: Buy 3 for $ 9.99) and it’s the perfect place to pick up a few trendy T’s to use for layering. They also sell SUPER warm slippers, mittens and scarves! The prices are unbeatable and the store is massive. Looking for some casual threads to sport? HEAD. ON. DOWN.

Old Navy: discount destination. Old Navy actually has some good stuff, but you have to be a hunter. Things often fit a little weirdly, so you have to try everything on. And sometimes it stretches… Old Navy is cheap, but it isn’t THAT cheap. For their prices, they carry some decent basics: this is where I pick up basic shirts in different colours and tank tops too. They have a wide selection of shoes and dog clothes too. They have different«sections» for work clothes, casual and sports clothes, though they all get mixed together. Like I said, there are some major finds, but there is also a ton of baggy, unflattering items as well. Your like of Old Navy is pretty much directly proportionate to your willingness to scavenge. This was the first location in Calgary, and I have noticed it tends to be the messiest and most badly run. Things are often in the wrong places, and the fitting rooms are fairly small. The staff tend towards teenage and are only mildly helpful. This Old Navy is pretty much self-serve clothing, right up until it comes time to take your money.
