Service is always amazing, I think a little more if they know you are a «buyer» not a «looker» if you know what I mean… Amazing high quality things!

I gotta say ⁴⁄₅ times the services is great. Sometimes the SA’s can act a little on the hesitant side when showing you bags. Usually I get someone very very helpful. I love that LV in Canada is cheaper than the States so I try to get my bags here if possible to save on taxes. 5% GST is way less than 13% HST in Ontario.
I’ve never a review until now. The reason is because they’ve done something different for me the last time I was in. I was interested in a Mahina bag but the one on display had a scratched up handle. The SA (although acted hesitant at first because she probably wasn’t sure if I was serious about buying that bag) told me I shouldn’t buy it because it is sort of damaged. Also she said there is no point ordering it in from another location. What she did do though, was told me I had another option as this was no fault of my own. I could have a brand new one made straight from the factory in Paris and it would take about a month to come in. I left my credit card number with her and she went ahead with the order. Sure enough about a month later my bag came in and she will charge my card. I didn’t know that Louis Vuitton even did that. I suppose if it was a bag in short supply and high demand I wouldn’t have been allowed to do this. I’m so glad I did. The SA’s as always go above and beyond when a customer needs something.
Oh and also when I had a damaged bag they fix it no problem within a week. In fact, I got a lemon once and one of the SA’s ordered me a new one to replace it!!! Say wha??? This is why I am so loyal to this brand. I buy other brands and always come back to Louis because it feels so comfortable there.

I was looking for a Christmas present for my mom. I brought in an old LV purse because I wanted something similar but slightly bigger. It was busy but I thought the sales associate were friendly and helpful. I had 3 people helping me find the right bag — and within two minutes I found my mom’s purse! I like Holt’s return policy — makes shopping less stressful. And I don’t want to keep a purse that my mom might hate. I doubt I’ll return often — only because the prices make this a special occasion place.

This is a review from a while ago, but I always remember by times involving Holt’s as well as, the boutiques in it.
Before buying a purse I did my research as always and was set in the cream checkered speedy. My husband said he would buy me the bag for a Xmas gift. So we went about our mission.
Thankfully he has a knack with people and customer service. We were dressed average as it was the weekend, the hubs was very casual. No one greeted us when we got there, which I wasn’t too concerned by I just wanted to find my purse. Soon as I saw it, I told the lady I wanted the medium speedy. She reluctantly gave me the purse and watched me like a hawk as I pawed through, seeing how it looked it felt.
The worker wasn’t very attentive and showed no interested in helping me. So I said i want it and we bought it. Soon as I said that she lighted up and was wonderful to deal with and gave me suggestions to keep the bag looking nice and so forth.
Typical high end store, judging people they have no right judging and making calls based on a person’s appearance. Only go if you really want something in particular or you dress up to look like you have money.

My cousin’s dog got a Louis Vuitton blanket and pillow for Christmas and for a whole hour after opening his present he sat in the blanket, content as can be, there was a whirlwind of activity around him and he wouldn’t budge, I even have photos to prove it.
It’s hard to keep a good dog down so to speak, and with him in mind I finally entered the new Luis Vuitton boutique today. Beautiful pieces encased in elegant wood and gold framing, bags, purses, portfolios. The most handsome selection of signature LV sunglasses; and let me just say I never looked so damn good.
Price wise? There was a nice set of tennis shoes at $ 600. Of course being LV, you are paying the prices for the privilege to own one of these puppies, but I must admit the sleekness, the quality and the cleanness of the designs are so massively appealing even for the price.
Sales staff was very courteous today with the onslaught of clients in the store.

But this boutique within Holt Renfrew is pathetic! I still remember this experience so vividly. I was 16 years old working for my dad’s company in Calgary for the summer (as I visit there every summer) and my birthday was just around the corner so my parents allowed me to go buy a Louis Vuitton purse for my 16^th birthday (Since they were in California they told me to go purchase the one I wanted myself). I went to Holt Renfrew went directly to Louis, I was looking around oh I’d say for about a good 20 minutes, and the 5 foot nothing Asian man would not even GREET me. I’m sorry but because I was 16 and didn’t look like a potential buyer he totally blew me off. Until finally I brought to his attention I was interested, I said, «I want the small monogram dog collar, this pink tie, and the recital monogram handbag.» He looked embarrassed after I actually ended up racking up about a $ 800 dollar bill.
Silly Louis Vuitton, haven’t your managers ever taught you that ANYONE could be a potential customer?
