Long & McQuade

Went in to look around to see what type of items they sell and what they would recommend for a child. I get it, they are a music store but didn’t expect that they would have so much stuff? Huge store and selection.
I am not a musician and know virtually nothing about instruments. I looked around for a while and even though the store was quiet, wasn’t asked for help or greeted by any staff. Not that I was in the market to buy anything, but for someone who knows nothing it would have been nice. I was hoping to find out what they would recommend as an instrument for a child who is interested in music, but not a particular instrument. Since the staff at the counter didn’t look inviting, after a few laps around the store, I just decided to leave.
Very clean and well organized store. Lots of selection. Lots of parking. Too bad the staff weren’t a bit more welcoming or looking to assist a potential customer.

Great looking store. Huge selection. Just always feel like nobody cares that you are in there. I commonly peruse the guitars, but have never been honestly offered any kind of assistance. Sales people his behind counters, with the exception of keyboard area, where they always ask to help.
Pricing is very competitive with other music shops.
Very clean and well arranged store, very quiet location.
