Worst… service…ever. When buying higher-priced undergarments, I expect to get decent service, which would include actually having someone approach me, offer a fitting, or you know, ask me if I would like a change room while I have my arms filled with bras! Had I been shopping at a lower-end store, I would have expected the staff to be listless, gossipy and unconcerned with their clientele — but when spending $ 50 – 60 per bra, I would like a little help. I’m not a demanding consumer, but I want a little more out of a shopping experience than to see all 5 of the staff standing at the counter yakking away, and having no concern for the customers in the store. I picked out a handful of bras, all the while hoping one of the staff members would acknowledge me and offer some assistance. Nope! I brought my stuff into the change room myself, and ended up only picking out one bra that I HOPED fit properly — even though I was looking to buy several items that day. When it was time to pay, the sleepy-looking girl behind the counter actually asked me if anyone had helped me out today — to which I replied a firm NO. I bee-lined right down to The Bay after that, where — even though it’s a faceless department store — I received much friendlier and helpful service!

I“m sending out mad props to Renata, the newest employee at this location of La Vie En Rose. I visited these guys about a week ago, and lucky for me, Renata was the one to help me for the full duration of my visit. What I loved most about Renata is that not only was she helpful, but she was honest. She was also extremely patient and she went out of her way to makesure that I got the biggest bang for my buck and that I took full advantage of all the in-store promotions they had running that day. I’m super grateful to Renata for all her help. If you plan on doing some shopping during your lunch break, head on over to La Vie En Rose and ask for Renata. You wont be disappointed.
