Kathie MacDuff Art Workshops

I seriously love this woman and her workshops and I’ve been taking them for years.
Her classes range from watercolor, greeting cards, book making, creative journaling, and artist trading cards (to name a few). Kathie firmly believes there is an artist in everyone and her classes are very positive and encouraging to help everyone get in touch with their creative sides. Her influences are vast — there is always a new technique to learn from here even if it’s your 4^th ATC class. She’s highly focused on easier, faster or cheaper ways of doing things which I can appreciate totally as my art is expensive enough! For example we’re make metal embellishments with furnace tape — they are already adhesive and everything. Metal embellishments to buy can be $ 1 a piece but run a small piece through the cuttle bug and you have one for a few pennies. Why not decorate it up with colored sharpies and spritz rubbing alcohol on it to get the alcohol ink look to them for much less? Love these little tips!
I’d recommend this call to anyone and everyone that’s interested in spending some time with their inner artist (especially if you don’t know if it’s even there!)
