Wow, I feel like I’ve just discovered this store when I’ve been in & out in the past & haven’t really been able to find anything. Well certainly not the case this week — I bought 2 work dresses & a pair of high heeled shoes all for just $ 94 today! I’ve gotta start shopping here more often, nice stuff & quality for the price. I found a lot if there clothes were mostly available in 0 – 4 sizes & I’m a 6 or 8 so had to search and they didn’t always have my size. Nice stuff though!

A great place for affordable kids clothes. They do have men’s and woman’s clothes but I shop here allot for kid items, very rarely for myself. Always a great selection and great prices.

I generally don’t come here, as I refuse to rack shop, and the store always looks like a chaotic mess. I had to come here to do an exchange. And I was on a mission. So it was ok, it was around the holidays so I braced myself, and I generally always go to the one area of the store with the nicer stuff. No one talked to me, which was fine as I was just being quick. There was people every where, and stuff every where, but the line moved super fast and it was a quick transaction. I would recommend the new one downtown. but it’s a decent store for what it is.

Extremely rude and unhelpful staff. I rarely venture into H&M as I’m not a fan of the store environment and have never found clothing here that I like. However, I was having a relaxing shopping day to myself and decided to check out their basics(tanks, tees). I also spotted a few pairs of nice jeans, although I couldn’t find my size. I browsed the store for approximately 30 mins and not ONCE did an employee ask if I needed help. I eventually found two of them — young ladies — chatting and politely said«excuse me?». Without looking at me, she said«yeah?». Err… ok. After she directed me to the fitting rooms to see if a size may be stashed there(isn’t that her job?), another young lady there cut me off before I could finish asking and said«no I don’t have any jeans here». Okay then. I took my items to the cash register and was rung through by a sullen, raccoon eyed teenager who seemed like she hated her job. Before I headed into H&M, I was shopping in the newly opened Aritzia store. It was like night and day between the two. I had employees coming up to me CONSTANTLY asking if I needed anything, almost excessively(there’s a fine line!). I would still prefer that to being completely ignored and brushed off. Bad, bad experience. Never again.

Back when I lived in the T-Dot, I’d frequent the H & M on Queen St. as often as I’d frequent the one on Yonge. I basically stopped in at one of these two locations at least once a week. Imagine my delight when I found out that Calgary had an H & M! YEAHBABY! Actually, that’s probably exactly what I said. Don’t hate. While the store and the fashions inside of it are the same, the selection is NOT. I couldn’t find anything that I wanted to take home with me — and that NEVER happens at an H & M! At the very least I’ll go home with a new hair accessory or shades, or SOMETHING, but no cigar, not this time. Yeah, I’m still excited that we’ve got an H & M here in town, but they’re really going to have to pump up their stock of merchandise. Come on people, blow me away. I know you’ve got it in you.

I was pretty pumped when this H & M opened a few years ago. I checked it out the other day, just to browse and see what I could find. The store is big! There is mainly women’s fashions, a small section of men’s and a decent section of children’s. They always seem to be pretty organized here, which makes it easy to search around. They have a great selection of accessories, jewellery, shoes, bags, which are usually very cool. There are both professional pieces of clothing, dressier options and casual stuff. I find sometimes I hit the jackpot in this store, other times not so much. My recent visit was the later. I didn’t find anything that wowed me. So I checked out the children’s section for something for my friends little guy. They have some of the cutest little kid fashions. I was able to pick up these adorable dark jeans and knit sweater, both were $ 20 each. I do love this store, but I don’t always find must haves here. I will definitely keep it as one of my regular stores to visit when I am shopping for something in particular and in search of some super cute kids clothes for my friends!

Please don’t judge me! Believe it or not, I have never in my life been to or in an H & M. I thought perhaps it is because I have lived out of the country for so long and even maybe the other longer stint living in Whitehorse. So today I was devirginised. Sigh I am sure many of you know about this franchise, so I will just concentrate on my first impressions. Market Mall location, in one word«large»; women’s, men’s and kiddies’ far in the back. Great winter color choices, blacks, greys, dark navy blues. I love the simple design, some a bit preppy, others more kitschy, definitely a nice retro influence here and unlike Forever XXI, from what I can see, well constructed and made. Prices are really in a nice price bracket as well; from $ 5 to $ 80…today I even saw some nice men’s hoodies for sale at 10 and 15 dollars. Great accessories, a lot of dope jewellery and nice chunky bling, great handbags and boots. All around, good value, good design and great prices. My knee was acting up today, so I didn’t stay for as long as I would have liked, but I will definitely return when I can take more time to drop some loot.

We’ve all seen this huge store in Market Mall before. It’s hard to miss since it makes up a couple of stores. Seriously. This place is huge! You may think you’ve hit the end, but think again, because once you pass the ladies section there is a men’s section and then a children’s section. It’s huge! I would say that most of the clothes in this store are pretty nice, some even being super nice. Every once in a while you’ll walk by something that takes your breath away, and not in a good way. There have been times that I actually can’t believe that someone would buy something so hideous! To each their own, I suppose. The prices on the clothes vary quite a bit from item to item. Some things are pretty well priced, being very affordable, while others seem unrealistically expensive for what they’re selling. The couple of things that I’ve purchased from this place have held their own. The clothes don’t seem to be made cheaply and don’t come apart after one or two washes. I’d say their good quality clothes, with somewhat decent prices. Since it’s so big, you’re bound to find something you like, which is why I enjoy shopping at H & M. I can usually come out of there satisfied with buying a couple of things.
