History

Established in 2006.

Over a decade ago the first Five Star Painting crew started a business. It consisted of 5 life-​long friends who wanted to have the freedom to be their own boss and the ability to reach their potential.

Now there are almost 70 Five Star Painting franchises operating in both the USA, Canada, Mexico and Brazil.

Steve joined the Five Star Team in 2003 and bought his own franchise in 2006.

My wife, Britannia and I have operated our painting business for over 8 years now. We love being in a service trade, and really enjoy the beautiful, and immediate results painting can bring to your home. We have one beautiful daughter who loves cartoons, art, the outdoors, and most of all her mummy and daddy. Our second child, Joshua loves causing trouble, Batman and music. Britannia and I have been married for 8 years and have lived many places including Utah, Louisiana, Edmonton, and have chosen to settle down here in Calgary.

There are a few things that are most important to us: Our freedom and this great country we live in, our faith in and love of God, and our family. We have met many wonderful people in this business and we love the opportunity it provides to meet new people all the time that just doesn’t come with working in an office. We also love the opportunity our business provides to have a great family life and time to spend with our kids.
