Courthouse Park

In case you hadn’t guessed, Courthouse Park is a park right next to the old courthouse. It’s a conglomeration of flower beds, grass patches and concrete paths… and a fantastic place to settle into with some eats during your lunch hour!
Have you seen the galloping horses running through the park? Don’t worry, they don’t *actually* gallop. They just look that way. Last summer, 8 steel cut horses were installed in the park — an art piece by Canadian artist Joe Fafard entitled «Do Re Mi Fa Sol La Si Do».
Next time you’re on the corner of 6^th Ave and 4^th St SW, stay awhile and enjoy!
