Bombay Beauty Loft is the brain child of long time friends Kada & Pritma. With over 22 years of combined experience in the health and beauty industry, the duo took a leap of faith and opened the doors of BBL to fulfill a niche in the beauty industry to offer «beauty services with bombay flair»

Business Owner

Kada is a girl of many talents! A well known Calgary Makeup Artist specializing in South Asian Bridal Services, Kada is also an expert in esthetics and skincare. Whats more — she is BBL’s threading guru and the secret behind our bollywood brow shaping services!

Pritma is a Registered Nurse and a cosmetic skincare expert. She specializes in Botox and Laser Rejuvenation. With over 11 years of nursing experience in clinical, occupational health, and cosmetic environments, clients feel at ease with Pritma.

Wonderful! I’ve had threading done before in Vancouver and, while I find it to be more painful then waxing, I got amazing results every time. Moving back to Calgary, I haven’t found anything close to what I had back in Vancouver, until I found BBL. Kada was so friendly and knew exactly what she was doing. A natural conversationalist, she kept me distracted while she did my eyebrows and I actually felt like time went by a lot quicker. Beautiful results in the end, will definitely return!

Kada is wonderful! She is amazing at threading– somehow it hurts less with her. People complaining about the price obviously don’t realize you’re paying for consistency and quality.

My new brow place! I’ve never had an aesthetician spend so much time and care on my brows. Came here after growing my brows for 2 mos after another salon waxed mine way too thin. The lady was very attentive to my caution and concern of going too thin again. She explained each step of the process as she did it, which gave me assurance. I liked that she said she’d go a bit thicker to be on the safe side, show me after the first brow, so we can adjust as needed. The place is also clean with a very modern and feminine ambience. I will def be back. I rated 4 stars bc it’s on the pricier end of eyebrow threading/​waxing but I think still well worth it!

Stopped in for a little brow TLC … LOVE the results and the service received. Will definitely be my «go-​to» stop when in town. Picked up fabulous hair extensions that I can’t wait to try. Intrigued by their St. Tropez tan — if I have time, going to try and sneak this in before heading back home. Fantastic experience!

I drive from out of town to have my brows done. They are an amazing team and such a friendly welcome. These ladies will take care of you and with an added personal touch, they’ll keep you coming back! In a world where we are so busy and rushed it is nice to walk in, be remembered and just be taken care of.

My sister and I got our eyebrows threaded today. Kada took the time to show us how to fill in our brows using a wax base and shadow. We bought an amazing eyebrow kit there that came with a brush as well, and can’t wait to try it. Pritma and Kada went above and beyond explaining other procedures they offer as well. They were so sweet, friendly and informative. Even though we come from the south end of the city, we will be back soon! I have been to many day/​cosmetic spas and this is by far the best! Loved it there.

Fantastic service with an intimate feel.
I’ve had my eyebrows tattooed by Kada and they look amazing. Hailan is a perfectionist when it comes to nails and does the most incredible 3D artwork on them. Pritma is phenomenal with Botox and I’m always thrilled with the results. Looking forward to having my makeup done by Kada.
Will definitely keep coming back.

I went into Bombay Beauty Loft for the first time today to get my eyebrows threaded, and I just loved it!
Initially I had some trouble finding it, being new to the area, so I was beyond appreciative when they stayed on the phone with me until I knew exactly where I was headed.
I was running 15 minutes late by the time I made it, and they were so wonderful and understanding, allowing me to keep my appointment. I believe I had Harmeet, and she was such a sweetheart! She knew exactly what she was doing, and my eyebrows have never looked so good!
I’ve been getting my eyebrows threaded for a couple of years now, and it’s so hard to find someone who will not only do it correctly, but do it well. And she, by far, surpassed that. Thank you so much, Harmeet, I will definitely be back soon!

I ended up getting my entire face threaded. I have been doing this procedure for years and decided to try a new place. Never again here! My entire face had blisters the next day, it was horrific. Haven’t tried nail service, stay away from full face threading (eyebrows only should be ok).

Hailan Q has done my nails twice at BBL and I have been very impressed both times. She is now my go to nail gal! Her work is meticulous and she doe beautiful 3d art. All her products are top notch and she is a perfectionist which shows in the end product. Cleanliness is without question.
The shop itself is clean and bright and everyone I’ve met working there is very friendly and professional. I’m very tempted to give a try on the lash extensions next!
Also of note, the shop is located inside/​beside the hairsalon Cutting Room Floor. I have not had my hair done there but you can hear the gals in the shop and they always sound like they are having fun with their customers. Too bad I’m not in the market for a new stylist.

I bought a $ 9 voucher for eye brow threading online. I called to make an appointment, they were able to get me in right away. The place was easy to get to, but parking was a little bit tight in this busy intersection of 14 st and Kensington road. The store shares and entrance with a hair salon, so after you walk in its on the left hand side. The place is small, but all new and nicely renovated, bright and white. The lady brought me to a private room, asked me for my preferences, she was quick and did a very nice job (not the chatty type, her name was Hamood?). She gave me the mirror for me to double check at the end. I got a business card with a list of their services, normal eye brow threading price is $ 18 (which is reasonable compared to other shops I have been to) I will be returning to this place.

Got my sculpted acrylic/​gel nails done here by Hailan. She did an excellent job, the sanitation and cleanliness was wonderful and my naiks are perfect. She did exactly what I wanted and they look sooo good. She does 3d nail art and shellac and stuff too but I went there for acrylic nails with gel overlay. Her products are really good top quality and loads of swavorski crystals to choose from. She is a perfectionist and it shows in her great work. Will be going back again for sure, also have booked an appt to get my eyebrows threaded in a couple days by a different girl.
