Solid liquor store and its walking distance. Double solid. Bridgeland has three liquor stores that I can walk to. I like to consider them the three little pigs of Bridgeland as one is very cheap(and scumy), another is too overpriced and very pretty and BK is right in the middle. It is clean, organized, decent selection of wines(lots of Malbecs), selection of inport beers(I’m a huge fan), and the staff are ALWAYS friendly and say hello. The pricing is very midrange which works for me.(to note: the local«can pickers» always prefer the cheap scumy location, so this one is far more pleasing to attend — as you can imagine). Ah, BK liquor. What can I say? It is one of many, many locations in the city. But it is a pretty solid liquor store. Although it is fairly small, it is open quite late. They have an excellent selection of mid-level brands of liquors and spirits, and a variety of wines from many parts of the world. You can even get a bottle of absinthe, which is no longer a rarity but can be a little more difficult to procure. The beer fridge is well stocked with local and national brews, but finding more obscure or international beers is best left for elsewhere. You can still get Stella Artois, and even Hoegaarden though. The service is decent, although it usually isn’t busy so the people are sometimes on the phone or reading a book. But if you have any questions about the alcohol they tend to be fairly knowledgeable and they know where everything is in the store.
